Yay for luck-based glitched event in 'effort-based's clothing! And everyone thought the War for the Obelisk was the biggest mess ever lived by petsite-a-holics
[Edit] amen to that! We werent glad for the glitch for team Saggi, but the massive jumps in a few minutes were bullcrap and feel like a favoritism for Gold
They messed up the last Omen Island plot too. One team got boosted against challengers by weather and the other got weakened against challengers by weather. ><
i'm sorry you feel that the fix wasn't fair to your team. the activity was fixed, and team saggi was moved about to where they should have been had it not happened. i took into account their own speed boosts, as well as the approximate amount of time they'd have spent on obstacles had everything been running as it should have. it's bad luck that steele got back-to-back obstacles right afterward, but that's all it was. luck.
Well - no matter what we will still win! evil grin
Go Team Steele!

Thank you for clarifying that. I was wondering if you had taken into account Sag's team's possible obstacles or not. Not sure though how you figured out their possible speed boosts though?

So here's a question- how is it even possible to get two obstacles right in a row? If it's a non-participatory weather plus participation obstacle, it's more understandable. But Team Blake just received two participation obstacles. So while most people were still roaming the site looking for map pieces, the obstacle changed to the ravine, requiring on page clicking. As Grelca already commented- it's just bad luck. But how bad must Team Blake's luck be to have this be our third back-to-back (two others involving weather), while Team Gold hasn't received any?
Here's another question- One team glitches, while the other tirelessly battles obstacles through the night. How is it fair to have Team Gold's position recalculated based solely on time passage without taking into account obstacle delays? Team Blake encountered two bouts of good weather, one happening during a speed boost. Not to mention them completing obstacles faster than many of Team Gold's? (Took <9min to get past Mahtals Jewels, while Team Gold took 20+ minutes on their obstacle.) So how could Team Gold suddenly be plopped within a % or two, with little regard for obstacles? Either you move both teams based on time passage, or they MUST take obstacles into account.
One last question- How could Team Gold eliminate a 4% Team Blake lead in minutes, without either team having weather boosts/blocks and no team speed boost being activated? Seems like the fancy tent that they're carting should slow them down at least a little.
It all just seems a bit fishy to have this happen when Team Gold seemingly has rocket packs attached to their wagon. Staff overcompensating for the glitch?
[edit] Just saw Grelca's post above that refers to question 2. I'm still not a full believer, but no point questioning it further. Question 3 still stands proudly though.
because that wasn't estimated, i have the data for each of the boosts, so i was able to determine them accurately. :)
fun fact: they were also in an active speed boost at the time of the fix!
All the team details would be so interesting - distribution of time zones, for example. That can influence how fast a party moves at which time.
Can someone explain what makes the rock, paper, scissors obstacle count, please? I still have 1/5 activities complete while my husband has 2/5 even though we both did the same things at the same time.
it just ended WAY too quickly (it will definitely be tweaked for the next day), he probably got his in right before it ended and you got yours right after unfortunately.
I'm stuck at 4/5 different activities, so if nothing else pops up randomly I cannot complete it for today? Or what did I miss now? I'm really at a loss here. I can only be online for 1 or 2 hours each day :(
you'll have a chance to catch up at camp until the next leg of the journey starts tomorrow at 6pm :)
Can't play Jungle Chase game because the screen is so big it won't fit on my computer screen. Top part of the game gets cut off and I can't see what I'm doing. I can't help my team with this Jungle challenge this time around.
A friend is someone who knows all about you and loves you just the same ❤.
The didn't work for the Lasirus family obstacle. It's on the Subetalodge list and the Subeta wikia list, and its description says that it is from the Iku tree.
Great, thanks. I believe there were a few others that some of my teammates found, not sure if those were reported as well.
Checked subetalodge link for fruits from Ikumoradeekanox and found a fruit listed that the Lasirus family obstacle would not accept.
