The momobo berries should work from now on. Watermelons don't come from that tree, though!
oh, sorry. Subetalodge said it, so I believed lol
sorry if this has already been answered, I tried to skim the thread. Is there any advantage at all to turning in more items or replaying obstacle games after you've completed a task (e.g. more plot points for the point shop at the end)? Do additional contributions advance the progress bar for that task? And will we accumulate plot points for playing Survivor?
I just want to clear this up right now. It was never intended for obstacles to be the same for both teams. It has always been that the teams would be facing different obstacles (even at different times depending on where the teams are on the trail).
the advantage to you personally is indirect. because while it doesn't count any more toward your personal progress, it provides an advantage to your team. and each day, the team that finishes first gets bonus plot points. :)
It seemed like it, bc... 19 obstacles... So it means it's mostly luck-based than effort-based? Because we got blown back a lot, and we took approx. 1h to get to the same point we were than the monsoon for team Saggi (that was said to take 30~40 min. to stop). And there are obstacles that take more time than others...
Thank you. I'm Team Saggi though XD I saw the link. I have found my team's ping group :)

So what happens when I can't f'ing participate at all because the site is dying, huh? What's the catch-up mechanic for that?

maybe i'm being a bit rubbish with my timing, but so far the only option i've had is to go hunting, and nothing else. my team has moved along the trail, not showing almost at the end, and still i've only ever been able to go hunting, despite checking regularly for new events and things. so at the moment i've only got a 1/5 completion because nothing else seems to exist for me :S
edit: with the arrival at the campsite, this issue seems to be solved, as fighting scarabs and spiders has completed my daily tasks! phew!

None of the new posts on this forum and some others are showing up anymore. :(
Does donating not count as an activity?
Does donating not count as an activity?
I don't believe it does, it's a separate thing. Since we are at base camp though, you can do those activities to get to 5/5 :)
that's probably just from the errors we're having right now. it was happening last night too, this is being looked at now I believe.
So who made it to camp first?
I suppose Team Gold, because they were a tad better off all the while.
Are hold-ups and throwbacks and everything equal in amount and duration? I definitely hope so - or is tht random? Though with the lag and errors and downtime and unintentional pausing everything may have become unbalanced.
Was the number of participants on each team taken into account or would uneven numbers simply be bad luck for the smaller team?
I don't think the race to the finish is quite over yet, I think this is just some down time :) I will let you know if I'm wrong about that though. I got clarification: the team that won today will get bonus points for today, it isn't all or nothing :) I am pretty sure team saggi won today
obstacles are random =)
I think so, but as far as I know the teams are surprisingly balanced so it shouldn't impact things too much.
So if we didn't get 5/5 actions on the trail, are we missing out on something? When I went to bed it wasn't even 1/4th of the way moved, and I was at 2/5, but I got home from work just now and it seems we're doing a donation battle and the trail is gone.
Okay, so just to make sure, a person who donates one thing and a person who donates a thousand things will get the same number of plot points, all else being equal? The same for someone that plays Survivor a hundred times vs someone that plays once?
Out of curiosity, I figure that score affects amount of food collected, but would a score of a thousand in one game be better than five games with a score of two hundred each?
The way some people spell makes me wonder about their pronunciation. My CW shop, and my ping group
if you remain at 1/5 then you will miss out on all of that day's plot points. you can catch up right now by doing the activities at base camp though! (battling two different opponents and playing survivor)
yes, donating doesn't count towards plot points.
I'm not sure how the game works to answer your question. I'd guess that one game of 1k would be the same as 5 games of 200.
