Is there a min score necessary for your progress to count or is it better to play until you naturally lose? I've been ending my games around ~10k as it's much quicker to gain score at the beginning.
- Food is at 59 percent and dropping. Anyone any good at it should play Survivor and the rest of us go for Matlal's Jewels.
another horde of xotls eliminated, so now it's back to hunting for food...
You have completed 4/5 different activities today.
just one more to go...
got 5 matlal's jewels in, back to the old grind
- I assume you're talking about Matlal's Jewels. If you played timed, the game will naturally end itself after some amount of time. As far as we know, no minimum score is required and games after ten count towards clearing the obstacles (even though you see a send error and get no sP). So not sure what the right answer is. Bigger scores do count more, but two games of 10,000 is the same for the team as one game of 20,000 so I guess it depends on your playing ability. If it's really much harder for you to score after 10,000 then your strategy might be the best. For someone else, playing longer might be better. Personally, I always play until the game times out (or I ruin the ingredients which I don't do too often) but my scores are often not that much better than 10,000 so maybe I should be quitting sooner. In a timed game, you can end sooner by deliberately letting the ingredients spoil. Hope that helps at least some.
booo, missed the obstacle.
Damn we're far ahead ^^ But that really sucks for Team Gold =/ Does anyone know what happened to them? I remember they had bad weather, like, right in the beginning yesterday, did they run into more monsoons and wind? Or did they have trouble clearing bostacles?
Seems like we're going to win this leg of the race too, even with Team Gold getting the speed boost :D :D

Thanks for the detailed response ! I appreciate it. :) Yeah, I play timed as well. Once the extra ingredients start falling it's definitely harder to combo and score big, so I tend to call it quits when the blue mist rolls in. Think I'll stick to this method, seems to be working okay thus far!
Morning!
Super fast as I have to go out in ten mins time...
Speed boost voted! Food hunted but we need more if anyone's about.
We are doing ok, hang on in there!
Try to get on later. runs
Voted for speed boost.
Will hunt for food now. :3
Go Team Blake!
- Is anybody monitoring our food? It seems to be dropping quite a bit right now and is already back under 75 percent. Remember, with the new food consumption rate the late nighters need to keep playing Survivor even when there are no obstacles. And that will be even more important when we manage a speed boost or hit the next obstacle.
- if it isn't broke - don't fix it. :-)
- hi, nice to see you again. - hi.
We're not going to win if people don't keep hunting more or less constantly. Because we'll be hit with a 30 minute stop time.
Yeah, but if I never see another Banamble Tumbrrian Hockhopper or Ananamata again, it'll be too damn soon. Hunting this much is boring.

woot...!! :)
back to food gathering i go...
WHy hello there :D

Looks like the Manchus are gone and we're back over 50% on the food. That was a quick turnaround. :)
hi ^^ Do you know anything about how Team Gold has been doing? I mean, they have a permanent speed boost, yet we're so far ahead...
- just keep playing Survivor. Food will drop even with no obstacle. But that was scary. I checked and all of a sudden our food was way down near the bottom and energy was dropping.
- don't forget to keep playing Survivor. Not sure if anyone is driving the wagon right now. I'm only here for a bit because I'm on my laptop and will need to charge the batteries soon.
- they have been much worse than us at things like clearing obstacles and getting organized. Their passive speed boost isn't as big as team vote speed boost (although they can do that too) and we've had a few of those. Also good weather helps increase speed and, thanks to Esther, we've been getting good weather events (I've seen at least two). So, as long as you all keep hunting overnight so we don't hit the 30 minute energy rest stop, we should have a good chance to beat them into camp tonight.
- yes, hunting is boring and tiresome, but we need to keep doing it since they changed the food consumption rate. The only good news is it's even worse for Team Gold without the boosts from Wesley and Blake that we get for food.
