- as far as I understood it once you got an NPC they're with you (or rather their buff is) until the end. We're better at clearing obstacles and working together and put the best use to our speed boost than Gold seems to, as well as not only having the original benefit of losing food/energy slower, but the buff that means we lose food at another 10% slower than normal. We definitely have the chance to beat Gold in the next leg. We just have to keep working together like we've been doing and making sure we use the speed boost to our best advantage.

I've been buying and donating as much as I can, and I hate to say this but I don't see any way we can catch up in only an hour. They've been 47K ahead of us for a long time now. :(

I could not autoprice my shop last. I could not even get on the site for than 20 -30 seconds at a time. I tried again this morning and had the same problem.

Alright I am all caught up... man I almost missed that step, I feel like such an idiot for not clicking the link when the post came up.

We definitely can't catch up since it's over - at least it should be - in three minutes rather than an hour. ;) But we definitely did pretty damn good considering all the crud that was going on with the site for the last 24 hours.

Did anyone find any more good buys?

Maybe for the people who are donating tokens, items, and sP to others, have the person receiving verify they are in Team Steele? Whether it's by wearing the team tent on their human avatars (which admittedly someone can fake by buying the tent, but...) or taking screen captures at base camp (because Blake's head icon shows up at base camp next to the suggestions about what you can do to help). One can also change their forum title to Adventure Captain or show a screenshot of that in their Achievements. Just an idea, so people aren't unwittingly helping/donating to Team Gold.

Vended and donated my limit again. Having trouble finding cheap items now.

Ok...I'm back from work and I will help out with donating all that I can before I leave to go workout. However I've donated 15 items and the numbers haven't changed at all....

It updates the numbers every five minutes :)
