YAY Ok great I have a small stockpile up for the moment, ready when needed. And if I happen to miss anything or need to leave I'll pass on my items to another team member to carry on~
Any speculations on the next NPC? I can't really think of any more helpful buffs. I guess there could be an energy buff, but I don't see how helpful that is outside of when we've activated a speed boost. Not nearly as good as 10% more speed/bad weather immunity, and I would expect they'd save best for last as it does seem like each time the bonus gets better and better.
Or another possibility is another rich NPC with more money to fund the expedition (in other words, we can earn money from the games), which seems possible but rather anticlimactic after the last two NPCs. Doesn't really help the team.
Do you have a recommendation on how to train a pet to get the maximum output in the shortest amount of time? I am not a battler and only ever really train my pets when I need to for something, so I'm definitely not familiar.
My bird definitely turned around too! When we first got him he was so quiet and he would guard his food with his life.. I think he was afraid of losing his food ;__; But soon he was singing and ruling the roost! He was never comfortable hanging out on us, but he loved being in the same room as me and I trained him to give me kisses so, that was a victory enough for me! We did have to teach him to step up too, the poor thing didn't even know how to do that!
it was definitely super cool... and walkmans.. and other ridiculous things!
butting in.. but to gain stats quickly the best thing to do is boost with tomes and the boosters you get from Shinwa.. if you have a small pet autotraining is the best route but that costs csc and can be super costly... plus it is slower.. and battle quests help too!
I was thinking maybe an NPC with something to do with battling, maybe like making the battle obstacles go faster or making the opponents weaker for the team who has the NPC.
No idea, but someone else mentioned that putting Elwood in the NPC link for the event leads back to the camp page instead of a 404 error.
I also heard from someone who's friends with staff members that he would be appearing, although I don't know if he'll be an NPC that joins our team or have some other role in the event.
Oh, that would be a nice one!
- I think this was mentioned before in the thread, but if you replace Esther's name in the URL with other NPC names, most of them lead to a 404 page, but Elwood leads to the trail page, so that's my speculation. I don't know what buff he could give, but I do know that we need him whatever it is. :)
Just hopped on and about to do the rest of the quests.
I'd be happy to have y'all as a friend on here. This group has been a joy to be in and so much comradery, there are times I wish it could be like this in RL too. Probably make the world a lot better :)
I would use ommetaphobia since he/she already has a few stats.
Did you ever battle before? Meaning do you have any points you can spend? If so, get the level up, so you can train something else again.
I usually do everything except strenght and health with battle points. Works faster Not that Mondstaub is a great battle pet yet...

Phew, got my last quests done, bit last minute, but they're done. I saw we still got the lead from this morning, great job, Team Blake! There's less than an hour left, am I right? Then we so got this, hopefully! :P
Man, just got up from some stuff and boy am I happy to see we're still with a nice lead? Great going, guys!!! :) Good morning/afternoon/evening, everyone!!!
Who else liked the new Marez Itzatul line?! I wishlisted nearly everything rip
Hey there! It's with a bit of delay but I thank you very much for the gift! It's indeed a truly majestic beast! :)
Hello! Just wanted to say that honestly I'm still happy you're back from your non-internet weekend and with your neat morale-boosting poetry!
I can't believe I didn't think of that!! That would make a lot of sense and be super helpful!
I had no idea about Elwood. He's definitely next, then. Wonder what buff his would be...Esther's was blatantly obvious, lol.
Elwood is kind of a trickster character so maybe his buff would be doing something to get the team out of having to do an obstacle.
Thank you for the tips! I'll probably just go harvest a bunch of boosters out of the user shops, because I felt so bad this last leg being unable to help defeat most of the battle obstacles. Of which there were many DX SubetaLodge don't fail me now!
Though, if our food situation stays the same or worsens, I could easily just stick to that. Even if the food shooty game is getting old. (;
Yep, ommetaphobia is my "if i gotta battle I'll use you" pet. XD I haven't battled much outside of this plot (only when prompted to, usually), so I don't think I've got any points. I'm gonna check, but will be utterly shocked if I find anything.
Yes, I was the one who discovered that. (Or at least, I was the first to mention it on this thread) I totally forgot about Elwood, though. I wonder how long his link was like that, I didn't think new NPC links would show up until the day of...maybe I should find a list of EVERY single NPC and go through each and every one. xD Maybe I can find all of the NPCs, hehe.
That's a very good thought! It'll be interesting to find out!
I think a battling buff would be awesome. I wonder if the next team challenge will be playing games or battling? We've done quests and item drives. I'm hoping for something new. I suck at most games, but I can at least try. Battling is my jam.
Maybe Elwood won't have a buff, but rather a sabotage for the other team
I feel like that would cause A LOT of outrage depending on how much damage he can do to a team.
Ellie is still "learning" [coughchoosingnottocough] step up. She's not much of a snuggler or likes to be touched/preened in certain ways -- her feet especially. When she's being a stinker, I like to try and tickle attack her while ignoring her warning face that she'll nail me. > u >; And we had to show her, slowly, what toys were because she would have freak outs and hightail it the opposite way and wouldn't move. Finally gave her some natural chewing toys and she's a happy camper.
She came talking -- her first word to us was a super cute "Meow!" The only thing we have taught her talking-wise is to catcall and sometimes she does a triple catcall because I don't think she learned it that well, haha! (; I'm beginning to wonder if she was wild-caught because of the way she acts, but I'll never know unless she begins telling me her whole life story!
What you're running from.
Would your bones have to b r e a k
And your lights turned off?
I really like the battling buff idea, that would be perfect and I could totally see that as a possibility. Perhaps Elwood's trickiness helps us evade fights somehow?
there have been mentions about fragging. I think a staff member may have even suggested it?
