That's a good idea!

So just mute the pings - it's really not that big a thing. It's an event and people get excited - especially when it comes to something like this speed boost and only needing a handful of people to vote for it to activate.

: The point is not wanting to miss important information (via ping), but that so many of the current pings aren't worth looking at. Thus the issue of "I don't want to mute it, but WTH."

I was not actually aware of that (in such a way as, the ping from earlier would still be valid. Didn't occur to me DX ). So, my sincerest apologies to you, , and anyone else who the re-ping irked. I'm still figuring out some of this stuff. XD

Honest I dont mind pings during the event for event relevant things. I'm only part of TeamBlake so I'm not seeing OTT and pings are pretty sparse.

What I dont enjoy is when pings are used for non relevant or unimportant things during events. Which has happened the two events before now and makes me feel there should be a way to limit who is allowed to ping.

how do I mute pings? I am actually not really used to things like that!
