The news post mentioned that signups will last a few days, to give everyone a chance to join a side. I'm sure there will be another news post later on once things are ready to get started (and you should get accepted to the team you choose anyway, they just do it this way for the story).

Actually, that is a very good point! Though I'd decided from the very start I'd be joining Team Gold for the money, and the job offer was professionally done from a RL perspective, this is still a valid question. It is, after all, scientifically proven that happy employees are more motivated to work and achieve greater results, and nothing motivates people better than knowing their boss cares about them and they are appreciated.

@ SpiritImmortal I don't really expect a very caring, concerned attitude from Saggitarius towards borderline cannon fodder employees, but I'd like a few more reasons to join each team. 😊

All we have now is money vs. exploration, and by the looks of Blake's topic, a lot more people are in it for the extra energy/exploration perk.

I want to join Saggi's team, but I don't want to walk into this blind and make a decision I'm going to regret because someone up top decided to give us last minute information 2 hours before they shut down the signups, or something along those lines.

So I'm going to hold off on joining for now and lurk for a bit until we get more information and a registration deadline.
