Rem sounds gender neutral to me, could be both male or female, I'd say. Yes, Re:Zero is indeed an anime. It is still ongoing so it is quite new. Probably my favorite from what I've seen recently.

I absolutely love names that are unisex because if you re-work the character there are more options open. I see! It's been a long time since I've watched anime Q__Q I enjoy them, but they're quite time consuming because you get addicted lol.
