Thats the sort of paint I use on the shits Ive made (no fancy other things to mix in it and make it not as 'crunchy' XD)

Pft I just don't have the knowledge or patience for oil ;-; I've destroyed enough brushes without having to fuss with turpentine tbh. So I have the non-fancy giant tubes of acrylic paint from cheapest-art-store-option-that-day. You know the plastic tubes that make the fart noises when you squeeze out paint?? ;A;

Ah! Crochet! I've been wanting to try it because I have some craft stuff I want to do for a future home. I'm just not sure if I'll be good at it, haha...

For me right now, acrylic painting is totally my thing. I've started doing old 30's horror movies in black and white paintings. I've done Dracula, now I'm working on The Mummy. I have some watercolor and oil paints but I haven't even touched them yet.

In pretty sure if I can go from not being able to do more than a single chain to save my life, to being able to do a few different sorts of stitches and making all sorts of things (well, limited by what colors i Have) you can too :) Maybe check out thrift stores to see if they have cheap yarn, and buy a crochet hook somewhere and have at it. That way, if you decide to not keep at it, you havent spent a lot of money :)

Then if you want to buy loads of yarn for somewhat cheap, WalMart MIGHT have some of the better quality sort on sale for the Thanksgiving deals. Some of the stuff I got was like...$4 normally (and a lot less in the skein than the Red Heart Super Saver I usually get) for $1.88. One lady just about cleared out one type. Thankfully I had my choices in the cart already since they were just regualr stock on the shelf (and not one of the 'special' displays some more popular items are.

LOL, that lady would be me with any paint that's on sale. It's already like 50 cents where I get it, but yeah totally me. I might check out WalMart before or after Christmas. That's where the good deals are at. I'll see if Michael's or Joann's has any sort of deals going on. Buuuuut, they're usually always more expensive than WalMart and whatnot.

Those places might have a better selection than WalMart does, at least the one close to me. Mostly the SUper Saver stuff, but some of the 'better' sort.

When it gets closer to Thanksgiving, WalMart has the sale papers on the website so you can check those. 'My' WalMart rarely seems to put out the paper versions for some reason, even though I know they were sitting in the managers office (I worked there for 2 different Thanksgiving sales, first one maybe 2 weeks after I started working there. Actually much easier than shopping the sales XD)

They definitely do; larger selections. Basically a whole isle to one product, even. Like I swear I saw an isle in one of those stores dedicated to glue. GLUE. WHAT KIND OF STORE?! A craft heaven, that's what. I think Black Friday is around Thanksgiving time, isn't it? I swear to god I will never go to WalMart on Black Friday. But the sales before then are reasonable, too. :^P

Yep, it is. Usually the day after, but some stores (like WalMart) have the first sales the day of. OTher shops open up EARLY on the Friday. All depends i suppose.

My Walmart is actually sorta calm. Last year was the first time in 4 years I ever saw a fight happen, and it was over video games I think? I just kinda looked at them funny, and went to pick up the game I wanted (but ended up not getting 'cause i only had $25 to spend). 4 years ago my mom said some older lady apparently smacked a kid for a $8 stick vacuum or something like that.

But stores in bigger areas are more likely to have problems. 2 years ago (almost 3) I went from my WalMart right after finishing my shift to the next closest WalMart (MUCH smaller than mine), and the Mario 3DS XLs were still available, and the $30 tablets too :)

Oh dear lord it's hectic where I am. Many, many fights. It's always been too dangerous for locals to go anywhere on Black Friday. I think last year a man was beaten in a parking lot after buying 3 TV's and they were stolen from him. It's so sad. I believe there have been a couple of people trampled to death as well. It's like the apocalypse. ;_; But, I digress. That is one plan out of question. Never go to WalMart on a Black Friday for art supplies. whispers It's not worth it.

Thats why you go in groups, and have one person right there next to you to help protect you just in case, though I think that woul apply mostly to the high end items.

And tehres a story I heard that i have no way to prove, but apparently one lady walked out of the store with a cart of high dollar stuff she paid for, but didn't have her receipt checked (Im guessing a thing thats par for the course with loads of expensive things being sold), and then came back in and went out with the same stuff, and had her unchecked receipt checked for the things she didnt actually pay for

Yes, groups are a very smart idea. But at the same time, with a huge crowd, I'm afraid of losing my people among the ocean of savages. O: But wow, that's an unfortunate thing to hear. Nevertheless, I suppose there is a little bit of greed everywhere.

True...I could easily steal stuff from there even now, but I eventually want to get hired back there so I dont.

More so when I had access to the back room area. BUt again, I wasnt that stupid XD
