No no no, don't give up! Just needs a little bit of editing and tweaking here and there and I am sure you can manage the CW limit ^_^ It's hard and challenging I know, Michelle is horrible for making us limit our CW-usage, but it's very nice succeeding in creating an almost CW-less outfit!

Ok, I hate complainers, but I have to ask... I never did understand why there are limits on CWs... I guess because they're... nice? Or something? Not all are created equally. And, well, I guess I just don't get how they are that different from normal Subeta created items.

Someone please explain this to me!? I'm sure once someone tells me I'll be like, ohhhh! x)

~ Lol this may just be my perspective. I don't use CWs on my HA's (cause I can't afford them lol) but I don't tend to use them in contests either. I think that the idea is that you can get so much better color and texture matching and layering and other nuances with them because they were created with that in mind, while using just Subeta items makes it so that you have to innovate on less cohesive items and make them work together. I feel like Subeta's own wearable designers are starting to do this through Delish and certain Subeautique lines but for now it's part of the challenge to work with what you're given opposed to what's been made to work for you. If that makes sense...? lol

Edit: That being said, I'm totally gonna try using a couple on my next entry >.<

ahh i'm sorry i didn't mean to make you upset >_< what said is what I mostly think too when approaching cws really. i'm not against them, i have a few i keep close to my heart, but I feel like there is less of the challenge when people use a lot of cws, so my expectations for those avatars is like 10X higher? with a cw you can just put on a pair of tights and bam, ombre effect, while BACK IN MY DAY with normal site items it would take more effort, like 3 items, to achieve the same effect. or like layering 2 hairs to get the effect of a single cw wig. its really a personal thing. at any rate i think the kimono dress or w/e one has less than 2 cws so imma count it :D

Ok. I kind of figured it was something along those lines. I mean, I understand... but I like to make everything I do with some degree of difficulty (unless I'm just being lazy and it's just for fun, aka, not a contest) I like to take things and use them differently than they are intended, or match things up to make a cohesive outfit. I don't usually buy like say, a sweater with the hair/ears, etc. built in because they become almost useless to me after I use them once, because there are not too many different looks you can achieve with it.

So, while I get what you are saying, and yes I have heard it before, I'm just not about slapping things together to make them easy. Buuut, I could see where that could more easily be achieved... and people could get more lazy using all or mostly CWs... I guess.

Ahh.. hunny, I have to follow the rules, would not be fair if I didn't after everyone else went to such hard work to make their creations. You're so sweet. And yes, I totally get where you are coming from. Mostly from the good old days of Chic Summer Camp and such.

I revamped that pesky first HA I made and also laid out all of the items use to make it easier and indicate what was used where and such.
