I use the items as frag fodder as of now, but when I have a GA, I sell my items.

So, vending isn't worth it anymore and now quests aren't? So this has become a restocking site? Does any of the quests besides Wizard, Quentin and Carl give out any prizes? I was going to attempt to do something with my shop once it cleared out but now thanks to this I can't. It's also looking like I wont be able to earn much sP on this site anymore either.

Quests was my main source of sP because vending isn't worth doing anymore. I can't restock cuz I don't know what items to even try for.

@blackwolf_2009 I would suggest restocking at Weapons Warehouse, Defend and Conquer, and Spells Galore because they have fewer items for sale at time. That way you can start learning which items restock in there the least and buy/resell those.

Yeah, I might have to. I wish Subeta would give us a extra slot or two on Shops so I can re-open my restock one so I can keep track of profits. I tried once and it took forever for anything to sell and a majority of it dropped. ._.'

Whelp, there goes a reason to actually quest. Shitty sP rewards + no items + expensive quest requests? I get needing to tweak things, but this is taking it too far in the other direction.

Hmm, interesting. Just finished Library quests and got an item on every single quest. However they weren't all the usual better than other quest items but not bad. I never minded getting lots of items for quests because anything worth less than 5K I just frag.

Quest Givers I'm not getting items from:

Cinthia Maleria Mori/Nori (this is the weekened quest and no items?!? bonus quests are supposed to have increased rewards) - got 2 special item prizes in 15 quests Saggitarius (but this is normal, he doesn't usually give me items)

Quest Givers I got items from:

Carl Library Wizard (I really don't count him though - the point of his quests is Wiz Tokens) Pete Quentin (but no mage amulets cries)

Total sP profit after doing all quests (except Sarah, Drills, and Battle):

5,137,209 sP*

*this excludes the first 5 quests I did today when I did Shinwa - I forgot to track the sP for that but we can assume it was probably a few hundred thousand, based on the total profit (again, this is PROFIT, not how much I had left when done, how much I actually earned from quests - I did not count my starting on-hand sP - this is solely from questing).

So....less items, no weekend quest actual bonus happening, but approximately the same sP that I've been making all along. I average (when I actually do all of the Quests), somewhere in the 4-6 million sP range. I don't think items were ever the problem from Quest givers. I tended to sort through those and add to collections, feed my pet, add to TCs, frag, and then toss the cheaper stuff into my shop (for future questers to purchase). Now I'm getting a fraction of the items but I've got tons of sP still coming in. I'm not sure what the thought process on this is.

Have you done them today to see whats changed?

@blackwolf_2009 Have they mentioned fixing/changing anything again? I was at work and just got home so I haven't yet.

I have no idea honestly. Dx I just hope they all get items again. The sP was the main reason I did them but also the items too. I sold them to get more cuz I don't restock. Being forced into restocking to even make sP on here is going to suck. :/

@blackwolf_2009 Same. I totally cannot effectively restock, and I used a fair chunk of the items I got from quests =/

I'm torn. I feel like restocking as a whole would be better for item prices to be more balanced vs either over priced or under priced (since only a few restock to grab the super rares and the common items are flooded into the system by vending and questing.), but I also don't have a lot of time for restocking. So yes, torn. Maybe a mix of items sometimes but not every time would be a happy medium ground? hum.

If he is going to do this to the quests and take items from them, a better option for people who don't want to restock would be to make vending worth while again. Yes, it'd flood the market with a fair few items but if quests do not give out items anymore and it's restock or vending, it wouldn't be a bad balance in the end. Especially if quests are made to as more items or a few more quest givers are made.

well damn, that was the only way I got items AND sp. 10 years and I've never really gotten restocking, and I only vended anything for wears/books I didnt have yet. Heck, I didn't even sell anything and was happy making maybe 1-2mil a day.

not much point in getting a ga anymore I guess. autopricer was never a draw for me that much but the quests were. :/

edit: so just did shinwa, got items from 3/5 of the quests (including an amulet from quentin, woo!) item rewards came with about 15-19k, the one cinthia? gave more like 40k so I havent run into the 900sp quests yet, thankfully.

@blackwolf_2009 I could see that being a balance. Honestly, I think my biggest challenge with restocking/vending/anything is that it takes me so freaking long to reprice. Since I refuse to price at the lowest and drive other's reasonable prices down, it means a lot of hand pricing and well, real life complains. ;)

I haven't had time to try all the quests today but so far most of the ones I've done are back to giving items again. Hope it stays that way. :)

I'm a lazy person and use autoprice. I do check for the amulets to make sure they are at 250k or so. Anything less and I wont sell them at that price.

Going to try and cram in Cursed so I can see if I'm getting items now since it's the weekend quest (even though I didn't on the first day).

[edit] Mori/Cursed: 7 'special' items in 15 quests. No regular items, but almost a 50% return rate on special items, which is really too high. sP payout on par with non-quest days. (anyone want some - I can start my own flying army right now). The value of these special items probably tanked (not that it was that high before this weekend).

Total profit from only doing Shinwa and Cursed: 1,440,097 sP

From doing a sum total of 20 quests.

If some people are getting items from all quest givers, then I can only assume we're back to testing what works, and some of us are in the group that is getting only items from some quests, which is putting us at a disadvantage to those getting items from all quests.

Just did Library Quests and got an item for every quest I completed. So he's back to giving items again apparently. :)

Update: Maleria is not giving any items at all.
