Garrett has been looking very thoughtful since the announcement of the upcoming ball. He is torn between asking Fable to the ball, and making up some potions to make him sick and unable to attend. He hates anything that is similar to a party or dance...or a gathering of people. He sighs, and wanders back to his dorm room, hating life right now.

Fable wonders out past him in bunny pajamas, still not sleeping well

Inner Monologue spoken outloud "She knows he loathes going to balls but she does hope he would ask her...because she would love to dance with him and usually there is good food...and she wants to support her house. So having someone to hide and talk to whom shes comfortable with would be nice."

she conveys this to him through a tired smile and lit up eyes.

Garrett sighs after listening to Fable's "inner " monologue...he still walks to his bedroom fortress of solitude, but has condemned himself to going to the ball with his beloved...'why,' he thinks, 'why can they make us do what we don't want to, just because we want to see them happy...????' Then he looks at Kiki, who is just as bad as Fable, and he snuggles with his purring kitty. 'Because,' Garrett thinks, 'them being happy makes us happy too.' He smiles, kissing his kitty's head. 'This will be fun,' he tries to convince himself, 'really.' He tries to push aside the impending feeling of DOOM.

(ooc Awwwwww) Fable does feel guilty pressuring Garrett...sighs but house points...Ravenclaw shines in social interaction.

Garrett peeks out into the common room...the feeling of DOOM has hit him hard after finding out all of the things that are required for the Halloween Ball: Pumpkin carving, pumpkin coloring, a writing essay of walking through a haunted house, a costume AND attending the Halloween Ball...it's just too much. He wonders if he should just vamp out and attack someone, maybe then he would get expelled and not have to do all of this...stuff.

He sighs, and thinks about Fable. It would be terrible to never see her again...so he heads back into his dorm room, trying very hard not to cry. 'somehow, ' he thinks, 'I will make it through this.'

EDIT ( 10-30) Garrett happily makes his way to the common room. He has his favorite coffee in hand, and Kiki is trotting next to him. He walks over to his favorite seat by the window and sits down, looking outside at the water. Kiki jumped up to watch as well, purring.

Garrett reflected on this past term, how it was much harder than he thought it would be, and how soon the term would come to an end. He would miss his housemates, especially their prefect and , and of course, his beloved . He would have to keep in touch, and look forward to seeing them again next term.

He sipped his coffee again, and refused to let himself get depressed about it. He was here, there was a week left before he would be leaving, and all his homework was done. He smiled and leaned back. Yes, it was time to relax.

Fable saw and wandered over dragging her blanket. Hes right it has been a heck of a week but they kept up and made it through. She crawled in next to him and looked out at well. She was happy of the friends she made this year. and and even the elusive were cool and that was a big win for her. She would miss everyone as well but made it a point to get there "Owl addresses" so she could talk to them over break.

"We did good this year. I think we just might win this cup! Which is so exciting..." She smiled at Garrett.

Garrett looked happily up as joined him in the common room. He smiled at her warmly, and said " I agree, I think we might just too. It's been a lot of hard work..." He sighed, and snuggled in with her, happy to be able to just enjoy the moment without worrying about some assignment being due soon.

she snuggles in too "yes..yes it was...but worth the stress..."

Merlin saw and and sat next to them in silence till suddenly he whispered. "I'll miss the school and you guys as well, all the friends we made this year." Then he smiled. "But we'll see each other next term and hopefully we get to celebrate a cup victory!"

She welcomed to sit with them together...and smiled.. "yes your right...we wont be apart too long! and there is the cup to look forward too!"

Garrett smiled when their prefect came and joined him and . "You are right, we do still have the end of term celebration/cup awarding thingee...and I will be back next term, though I am thinking about some cosmetic changes, " he said, fingering his hair.

OOC well whomever your characters are I will still love being around the both of you all the same :D
