Vin smiled at Magnus (()) and gave him a wave as the black-haired boy was greeted. He mentally kicked himself for accidentally ignoring his fellow student. "Thank you." Vin said as Gaia (()) made room for him to sit, slightly drawing out the vowels as he thanked her. The young man took a seat one chair away from Gaia, seeing as she was waving down another friend by the name of Paddy (()). Vin observed the room with sapphire blue eyes, seeing if he could spot any knew faces that popped out to him. The room itself hasn't changed a bit, although the addition of multiple different kinds of fruits and berries seemed to liven it up a bit. He eventually returned his gaze back to the his table, peeling his Mangosteen while asking, "So, ah... what's everyone's plan for this term?"

Aria walked over to Magnus() and almost imperceptibly nodded her approval of his new robes. "I like them on you," she said softly while mindlessly smoothing out her own robes. She took a seat and began to munch on some of the provided feast of foods while watching her classmates engage in lively chatter.

(OOC: for some reason I have not been getting any wizarding pings from anyone, only private pings have been alerting me to changes/events/etc. I don't know why, I checked and I am in the ping group still. It's a mystery, either that or a Wrackspurt.)

He had been practicing holding a color for long periods of time, and appreciated her encouragement. Doing a double take at Magnus (), he almost didn’t hear Gaia suggest riding a unicorn. Almost. Between the two he wasn’t sure how to react but his eyes widened and his heart sort of skipped a beat. “Wait, so we’re roomies now?” He told himself he was excited to have a perpetual sleepover with one of his best friends, but the idea of riding a unicorn kept his heart racing past the initial surprise. “Did you hear that Chase? You and Kippers will be spending more time together.” Chase didn’t seem to care about the conversation but pawed at Fade for another bit of strawberry.

Looking over as Vin () sat down, Fade nodded a hello. He recognized the boy from the dorms, but hadn’t ever introduced himself. At least he wasn’t sure if he had or not. For some reason unfamiliar people made Fade clam up, so he bit his lip and returned to feeding his cat.

Gaia was right, Paddy was gonna miss having him in the common room most likely. The thought did make him feel a little sad, but the change was also exciting. "Name's Magnus," he said greeting the new boy--well new to him. "'Ey Sis, come sit wif us." Nibbling on a couple of currents, Magnus beamed to Fade. "Yeah, you ain't gonna get rid o' me now." He laughed brightly, "and fink of all the hijinks we can get into."

Aria moved closer to the group with Magnus and found an empty seat. Magnus mentioned pulling some clever hijinks with Fade and Aria thought of one herself. While the mischievous thought was still new in her mind, she began smiling and softly giggling. "Perhaps you could find a niffler and let them loose in the Ravenclaw common room," Aria suggested barely stifling her laughter while speaking. She was not one to pull off any sort of hijinks, but she certainly could provide ideas. ( )

Gaia sat amused with what was going on. "Yes, I said ride POP. He has been really good and as long as you respect him and not pull on his hair he is pretty good. The other unicorns let us brush them for unicorn hair. It is so much fun!" Gaia was eating some cherries she found on the table. "I wonder if there is juice somewhere." While distracted she casually said "You two will not pull pranks in the dormitories, if you mess up the common room you will clean after yourselves, and if I catch you messing with my stuff I will give you both fleas." Gaia looked at her friends as serious as she could be. "I did bring you presents! and extra unicorn hair if you need it!" Gaia laughed. ( )

"You 'eard Aria," Magnus said, "if a niffler show's up it was 'er. 'Sides I would never dream of doing such a thing." He gave his best innocent smile--that sparkled with mischievousness.
