Losing power two days in a row last month, due to equipment failure at a substation.

Let's see... for me it would probably be playing with sparklers around the 4th for the first time in years. Monster Hunter Generations was released a few weeks back, and my boyfriend, his cousin and I have been teaming up frequently in-game. It's been a lot of fun!
Honestly this summer hasn't been super eventful for me-- Usually there's a con I go to, or I go on a trip to the lake with my family, but we haven't this year. It's been relaxing, though. The only thing I regret is not doing a garden this year like I planned, (I was gonna do potatoes and carrots,) but there's always next year for that!
I'm looking forward to fall. <3
At the very start of summer, I had my college graduation and got engaged to my now-fiance. So pretty much nothing can trump those two things lol.
I did have fun going on Pokemon Go adventures with friends and playing video games all day when I didn't work. It was also pretty great when my college started school again a couple days ago and I didn't have to worry about going back lol.
I took a short trip to Sanibel Island, Florida. Water was beautiful and enjoyed looking at the sand dollars and starfish
I'm still trying to find a job after graduating college, so my summer doesn't feel much different from my spring or fall (especially here in the desert; can it dip below 100 degrees, please?). But this summer I finally bought Skyrim instead of always playing my sister's game, and I played oh so many video games. Also Target clearanced a lot of their MH and EAH dolls, so my friend and I spent a day doll-hunting, which is nice since we don't get a lot of time together. I also learnt how to cook lots of different dishes!
I had a lot of little accomplishments that sound a lot worse when I type them out, plus we went back to our hometown Chicago for a couple days to visit my sister, for the first time in a decade. This wasn't a bad summer, overall.
went to Huntington Beach California to visit my boyfriend. Can't Wait to go back. :)
The highlight of my summer was getting to spend a month with my long distance girlfriend uwu
I worked my ass off all summer and this weekend I'm taking a trip to Atlanta to meet up with friends and party hardy at DragonCon d:
i got to spend a week with my girlfriend (who lives in minnesota) in my home city, new york city! it was really amazing, one of the best weeks of my life. we saw movies, went to the natural history museum, took walks in the park, and ate expensive korean barbeque on the 29th floor of a big building overlooking manhattan.
it was really, really nice. i'll be thinking about it for a while.

I found myself the perfect Akita puppy. I will be bringing her home in two weeks <3
She'll most definitely help me get through shit called autumn and winter
My summer is a veryyy long story so I'll list the things I did in order ^^.
Overall, probably my favorite summer.
My brother and I hung out a lot this summer! He lives around 5 hours away during the school year so I don't get to see him very often. This summer we went to Watkins Glen and walked through the gorge and saw all the pretty waterfalls, we hiked a small path in the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon, we hiked another small path through the Mid State Trail, we visited my grandma who lives on the other side of the state, we had campfires, we went out to eat, we climbed to the top of two old fire towers, hmm...we did so much I might have missed something.
Also my husband and I bought our first house!! I've been dreaming of owning my own home for so long so this was very exciting for us!
