A few days ago my dog became really ill and is facing a potentially life-threatening disease. Long story short, my family and I need to save up $950 dollars for her to even be diagnosed. The vets will not accept any sort of payment plan and won't even let us pay partial upfront (we've paid over $500 so far between both of her vet trips in these past 5 months). We don't want to lose her.

My parents barely make enough to pay for rent and pay bills. My sister and I are both in college as well, but my sister's college forces us to spend anything we have left over (which is usually a few hundred dollars) on that (they don't offer enough financial aid).

Yeah, the fatty bump is on her chest. I worry that it may cause issues with her movement or breathing if it gets too much bigger so our vet suggested we remove it. v__v I drop her off tomorrow and it has been giving me anxiety I hate leaving her anywhere. Yeah the poor bab ;__; thankfully, the surgery went well and she is now recovering. She has a pretty decent size stitched up area but it is looking better every day. How is your bab doing?

She's doing much better than when I last saw her, my sister sent me a few videos of her playing and being as hyperactive as usually is so it was really nice to see her like that. ;w;

The meds she was prescribed worked really well, but we're keeping her away from the dog park behind our backyard while we save up for her diagnostics. We think she might have gotten some really bad parasites from there...especially since she got sick twice from the two times my sister walked her near it. We're not really sure though since our younger dog didn't have any problems from walking there.

That is good to hear! It's so hard when a loved bab goes through sick/injured times. I had such a hard time with this and it was only minor surgery. Yeah, that is probably for the best. I have considered bringing Veebs to parks and such but I always worry about someone elses dog having something and her catching it. >: It could be that the younger dog was able to fight it off. Older dogs are probably more susceptible to catching stuff. Fingers crossed she keeps up with the good health!!

Yeah, we've always been pretty weary of dog parks too, but for some reason we took them out by it...not a good idea. :c It might be, but they're only 1 year apart, she might just have a much weaker immune system. I came home this weekend and she seems to be doing fine (aside from drinking a lot of water from the heat), but I can't help but feel so nervous that I ended up getting sick. OTL

My apologies for not getting your wip to you sooner! My uncle's been really sick lately and passed away a few days ago, so I've been prioritizing my family these past few weeks and art's been at the back of my mind. ;; But I'll try to get you a wip soon! (also )
