Was just wondering why the Subetabox's are priced 200csc more than the same items in Cathii's shop?
handles all the financial planning for the box, but I'll offer an educated guess!
Each 2 item box is 1300 CSC, and contains a 700 CSC item and a 600 CSC item. These are the prices that the item would (usually) slot for on a shop thread (for example, wigs almost always sell for 700 CSC, clothing items are often 600 CSC). Cathii prices them at base price (instead of slot price) in her shop because she buys each copy using her own CSC before creating a trade with the items for a box buyer to bid on. Basically, she buys at "wholesale" and the box customers buy at "retail" (aka slot price). The profits from these sales are passed on to the artists who drew those items.
The savings comes in buying the 4 item box, which is 200 CSC off the total "slot price" for these items.
