... is there actually going to be any event of some kind? I've been expecting something to happen any minute for about two weeks, but still nothing, and its getting a bit late on in the summer. I was hopeful with the mention of Camp Veta, but so far it only seems to be an art contest.

Alexander changes the book he's reading for a number of reasons, I think it's just his "summer" book.

I think the omen islands book is a reference to the fact that the Omen Islands finally got a map. :)

I'm not expecting another Omen Islands plot.. I would expect a plot in a different region of Subeta, although people do love the Omen Islands.

That would be amazing. I loved the Pirates vs. Islanders plot. I still have all my gold trinkets. Something like that would be so much fun.

If anything though, I think the next plot will probably involve Shengui Guo, since it's the newest and we haven't done much there yet.

I think it'll happen after the camp and now it was extended so the plot will start later, if not so I guess no plot this summer :(

Well we did have the Shengui Guo plot last summer, which was a lot of fun. They got to have a plot for the summer, before all the fun begins with all the holidays and festivals.
