Obviously probably figured it out, but yes, #⃣News is open ping c: I'm not always around or the best about checking Subeta's FB/Twitter/Tumblr (for a while they were pretty abandoned so that was easy to get out of habit on, but they are picking back up lately!) so I prefer that anyone can scoop something!

just wasn't sure, I didn't want to look foolish and try to ping it and the ping didn't work xD just happened to ping at the same exact time, but I kinda like it on its own thread. that way all of the info can be in the OP and people can read through the comments and not get confused from the previous newsletters

It happens. We by a nose pinged last time (me and Speiro). Normally I catch them and can ping the first post of that thread, but I've been quite busy IRL the last couple days, so understandable for the separate thread.
