Thank you so much for this much needed update! those timers are really a drag when you're looking for items to fragmentize! I've stopped buying items from the Crystal Shop since the 1 second wait was introduced, as it makes amassing crystals impossible on a slow connection.

So I've done exactly two quests with this new update and it suddenly occurs to me that ninety percent of my page views - and chances to get subq invites - are suddenly gone. I mean, it's speedy and when I get bored and want to mass buy something I'm sure it will come in handy. And I'm sure it will take a ton of pressure off the site.

But yeah. RIP REs.

/edit Additionally, if I get distracted by something irl AFTER I bought an item, and just glance back, the page is still the same ... so I bought a second quest item. I mean, 60k whatever, and it's my own fault for not seeing the green text but still.

and what about when we have to collect flowers and fairies, ect. around the site and need page views to do so! Normally doing quests give a lot of page views but with this it won't.

Yeah, for sure. Questing during events with floating items has always been my favorite. Rake them in~

I hope they think about this and implement something else fun to do. How else am I supposed to offer sacrifices to the red rreign? Where will I get pumpkins to carve!? (Is it autumn yet? Bring on the fun events)

I think this feature is causing issues with Caliph's Tomb. Ever since it came out, I've been getting horrible lag in that game and the page occasionally crashes. This issue wasn't there before the feature came out and it certainly isn't my browser (Chrome).

There may or may not be a lot of squeeing going on in my room right now.

Omg yes. So much love for this for fragging and rb item buying. Especially since I can't open tabs as quickly on my laptop like I used to on my desktop.

I'll miss seeing the tab name change so I know I bought something. Now I have to wait on the page while it registers. Already had a few times while questing where apparently I didn't buy the item and got yelled at by the quest giver for not having the item. lmao

I may have to figure out how to work with this since I've had times where it won't register I clicked the button.

EDIT: I think I figured out why. I have to let the page load all the way before I can buy anything now. Bit of a slow down for me while questing. I'm used to throwing open tabs and buying before the page finished loading.

This isn't working well for me. It takes longer to load I have to make ABSOLUTELY SURE that the page is COMPLETELY loaded before I try to buy anything or else my cursor turns into a red "no" symbol and won't let me buy the item until it's ready. Makes questing take longer.

I really like this. If you apply this to the NPC shops, please have a way to still get the 15% discount buff. Now it seems like buying with the page load is what triggers it. Be good if it's still triggered without the page load.

Hmmm mixed feelings. I'm glad to hear you guys will be taking this into account for REs and floaters, (I was already starved for tique invites this past month) but aren't pageviews important to the site itself for some reason also? Traffic numbers and all that?

It is definitely useful when buying up cheap items for RB and fragging! Of course that also makes the midnight turn over much more competitive for RB and favor faster computers even more. glares at my dinosaur

This is a REALLY SAD change for me. I love seeing the personalized shops when I buy an item, sometimes I post a comment to the store owner, sometimes I will choose to shop around and see buy other items from that shop. I have been trying to fancy up my main shop (coding) so that people actually SEE it and what would be the point now? Though the faster speed is great, it greatly depersonalizes the entire process. Decreased contact with people on subeta will not make this a better site. It is awesome because it IS so personal. I love the staff and the players here. Instead of the change effecting the user shops only, it should be the subeta shops only.

Sad to lose that personal touch people have put into their shops.

I agree , I like seeing the personalized shops and like to browse thu them at times too. This change will greatly affect that. I also initially thought this would be great for RB stocking but after trying it last night I discovered, for me at least, it didn't work as well as before. I got less items I guess because my computer is slower than others.
