I don't know if you've tried, but you should consider uninstalling and re-installing Chrome, it might help you if you want to try it as a browser :D

Wow, I didn't even think about doing that, I probably should. I've been really lazy as of late with my laptop, it's about 6 years old and is slowly going down hill.

I totally know the feeling, my mac is fizzling too, but I haven't really had the heart (or want to splurge that money) on a new one yet u__u;
