Ha! I have been eyeballing the for most of the day now! Not sure I want to spend that much on one item at this point, but will keep thinking on it! I also thought that holding off on the somas and reviver for a bit was the better choice, will want them eventually, but not immediately. I have had a blaster for a while now, just not able to use it yet, the "set by tier" guide showed it was useable for a number of tiers so bought it a while back. I admit, I like the looks of the Collar and Forj... will give them serious consideration!
Bringing up the AP is starting to get truly expensive, I will certainly keep working on it, but it will be much slower from now on LOL.
I want to thank you for your input... you and have cleared up many things for me and it is TRULY appreciated!!! ;-)

Battling can be narrowed down into either things you want or things you need. Things you want are items that would be nice to have and make it easier for you to win battles, but are not the only options to win battles. What you need are items that will get you the win against opponents, but may not necessarily be the easiest or the quickest way. I would think of these items as the bare minimum where as items you want may be the best of the best.

in depth advice That being said, items you want and items you need will change as you go up in tiers and your opponents tougher to beat. At lower tiers, items that block a lot of different items are needed more than items that only block a lot of one icon. Stealing at lower tiers is also better at lower tiers than at higher tiers. Blasting and freezing I would consider to be items you want and not a necessity, but there are a lot of cheap options out there that you don't need to differentiate between want and need. Healing is a necessity at both low and high tiers, however weapons with % healing are more useful at higher tiers when your pet has more health whereas over healing is better at low tiers. For example, will heal your pet for 90% of its total health. This is great for pets 1.5k + health that will get healed for over 1k health for that turn. For a pet like yours that only has about 400 health, the reviver is not as good because it's only healing you for 360 health, which your opponent can do more damage than that and beat you. Instead, something like is more useful because it outright heals you for 1k so even if your opponent does 500 damage, you are still healing the 500 damage plus an additional 500 damage so your pet will still be at full health.

Ok so let's evaluate the weapons you are considering. are a blaster with some added perks. Blasting is definitely useful at any tier, especially when you can't steal, freeze or block a hard hitting weapon from an opponent. Somas are expensive though so maybe you want to consider picking up that later and buying instead as it is not only a better blaster, but a cheaper blaster. I briefly discussed in my example. You already have a pquill so that's good, but the reviver would be more useful once your pet is above 1k health so let's put that on hold as well. Freezing is great and had a good recommendation for what you could use before you make the freezewand combo. There is also and that you can attach to your pet to also have a chance at freezing

Full blockers like and are the best at the middle of the road, I'd say tiers 7 - 10 maybe. This would be around the time you are taking on very hard - extremely hard challengers that have the potential to do a lot of more than one icon type. If you have the funds for one now, I would go with the rainbow vortex if you're thinking in the long run, but shinwas temple shard will at least remain in your main set until around T10 when fully blocking all icons for one round is not as critical a weapon to have. Scrolls that block most or all icons become more critical so you can fill that extra weapon slot with other things, so make sure you keep increasing your pet's intelligence. The scrolls you have now are good and cover all the basics (blocking, attacking, healing and freezing). Since many of them are OPB, you will want to equip more than one if you can.

Hopefully you've gotten through my wall of text to read this last bit lol. As far as weapons and defense goes, shields like and are not bad options to consider for now either. As long as you are not being crit hit or frozen frequently, these shields block a good amount of most if not all icon types and the forj shield will protect you from freezing when it breaks. For attacking, I would consider your options for what you want and what you need based on the opponents you are facing now and the opponents you will face soon.

Thank you for the in depth ! That gives me a better idea of what to plan for as I move up and also helps to explain why the weapon sets seem to change in nature as you move up in tiers. Thanks again to both of you!!
