The above is correct. You will need to have less than 500 items in your default category in order to use the + wishlist function. You current have 1000 on your unsorted. You can either change the default category to something with fewer items or you can clear out the unsorted until you have less than 500 again.

You can however still add the items manually by typing in their names on the wishlist and choosing add to wishlist.
