I noticed the avatar change, whoo!
...also what are 'breadcrumbs' in this context ^^;?
An example of breadcrumps is on top of the current page:

^ Breadcrumbs show the path you followed through a website to reach some point.

Thanks for the update. I think I need to learn a new language though. :P

What was the question?
Huh! Never heard that before. Thank you!
Nooooo. I always like to save my old avatar somewhere when I change it into a new one, but I always remember that after I press the save button in the wardrobe. I could always go to my profile right after and still save it. I guess now that's impossible :P
thanks for the update :)

My avatar isn't updating immediately... actually mine never updated until I went back to wardrobe just now (so a good 12 hours later), resaved, and then hard-refreshed. :( I just put on a new outfit to see if it would work, and nope still not working for me.

side note: why tf do i not have a nose/nose option when i load a saved avater? what kind of holy crap is that?
Thanks for the update.
Out of curiosity, will user profiles also see changes in the future?
Changed my avatar five minutes ago and it's not updated yet. It was updating fine for me prior to the change.

"Woe to those who make unjust laws, to those who issue oppressive decrees, to deprive the poor of their rights and withhold justice from the oppressed of my people, making widows their prey and robbing the orphan." - Isaiah 10:1-2
- HAs are not immediately updating :( Hard refresh needed for update to work.
Mine updated finally after a hard refresh. Odd thing is that I didn't have to do the hard refresh for it to change prior to this update. Very strange and slightly annoying. But, at least it changed and I'll just have to remember to do a hard refresh every time I change my HA.
Edit: Also had to do an extra hard refresh to get it to change in the forum.

idk what immediate avatar change was made, 'cause i've changed my avatar twice now and my sidebar (and possibly the forums,) are slow as molasses in the middle of winter. my avatars have changed immediately before hand, idk what this change did but it aint fast :x
edit: forums are changed, sidebar isnt tho. also dealing with some lag too ??
he/it | I'm afraid I'm a bit lost around here. | | |
Thanks for the update! The immediate avatars have been working well for me and are SO awesome. <3
I'm curious, does this mean that the suddenly small font on the dashboard and especially for events is intentional? I'm all for waiting it out to see if it improves as more things are updated, but at the moment the dashboard is a little hard to read, and events are nearly impossible to read without zooming in or moving my face up to the screen. n_n;;
I thought a hard refresh cleares the cache on the client side, and forces to redownload everything from the server. So if you need a hard refresh to see an update, then the problem is not on the side of the server, it's your own cache. I don't think Keith can do anything about that.
HAs are updating around the site pretty quickly, however - on the HA widget (at least on mine?) the link for HA is now https://avatar.subeta.net//userid.png with two // before the ID instead of https://avatar.subeta.net/userid.png like it is for the rest of the site. That might be why the HA on my widget refuses to show that I moved my nose back above my base when I loaded a saved HA, but the rest of the site changed right away :P
Idk if this is intentional or not, but it seems strange?
