Mori is asking me for but there isn't any on the market when I do a shop search. I'm not entirely sure how the quests work, but I think something like this shouldn't happen, right? Thanks for any help or comments :)

It's a shop item, just relatively new. I was under the impression that as long as it was within the rarities set for the quest giver, it was fair game. Mori/Nori often ask for expensive items.
