I don't really tend to notice treasures, minus the items on my own pets.
always for the spotlight pets, i look at every single thing. the tcs are my favourite parts of pets, which is why i try really hard to make all of mine look fantastic for the character regardless of if they're fully developed or not. :3
yes! that's one of the main things i look at! usually it's art, and tc, and then the story. :)
Probably an unpopular opinion here in saying that TCs aren't a huge seller for me. This being said, I love the feature and I applaud and admire people who do huge TCs that are organized (or in general)! But, personally for myself, I'll quickly glance at a TC, maybe hover over a few items if something I haven't seen before catches my eye. Otherwise that's it.
For my own pets, I want them to have small but meaningful TCs. Like 20 or so items of things that relate to them, more if I can find cool whatnots to add to them. Stories are what really get me drawn in-- it's the first thing I look at, always. I have a huge bias for them too (as if that wasn't obvious). I prefer people with stories over items in a TC and nothing else.Well, I know I sometimes look at them to get inspiration for my own pets' TCs. =P
I'm more likely to look at them there than in a gallery for sure.
Almost always! The only time I won't at least skim through a TC is if the items were made teeny tiny; it's one of those things where I can understand why people would do that for the sake of their profiles' aesthetic but I don't like having to squint to figure out what I'm looking at, hah.
But in general, browsing TCs is one of my favorite things to do on here! Sometimes it can be sort of predictable if it's a collection of, like, ghost items or something (which, tbh, I don't mind at all; I often work toward getting pets with predictable collections, because I really like spoiling my babies and giving them all the things, and I was thinking of my own pet Fanto when I wrote that.) But it's also really cool when the TCs can kinda show different facets of the characters' personality, or, like, different interests and stuff, you know?
I can totally get why some people aren't crazy about wading through huge TCs or anything and I respect that, sometimes I don't have the patience for it myself even when it comes to my own pets (I've had at least four times where I doubled up on items in Halden's treasure and took, like, months to realize it), but I also think it can be a fantastic way of showing character. And I use TC-building as another way to develop my characters. Like, if I'm struggling to find my usual minimum of 21 items, I know that I need to try to figure out some more interests for that character, or that they're very likely to be not developed enough!

I almost never look at TCs. I also almost never look at pets too.
I mostly look at leashed pets, battle pets, and pets that friends mention. I look at spotlight pets on full moons. I always look at TCs if they are there by default. If I have to hover or click a link, I only sometimes do, haha. I like TCs cause sometimes I discover items I didn't know existed and such.
I can honestly say I have almost no interest in TCs...whether my own or others. I don't tend to look item by item if I look. As for my own, I realize that most PS winners have very full TCs so I've added that section to my pets in progress profiles to complete the look, but to be honest I just throw items in there that match the color scheme or (in Dastardly's case, a 'death' theme), possibly a character theme.
I always look at pet TCs, since they're one of my favorite things to work on. I've actually scrapped character concepts and given up pet names for lack of viable TC ideas, haha. |D
But yeah, along with art and overlays, they're easily one of my favorite things to look at with other people's pets! I feel like there's so much potential for character info just in item representation and I'm always a little disappointed when a pet has nothing.
I get extra excited when I see a pet with a similar theme to one of mine and they have a really neat item I wasn't aware of. ___
TCs are one of my fav subeta features!! its so much fun to look at them and i LOVE giving my pets lil items to collect..really adds personality
I love looking at TCs for inspiration of what I can add to my pets' TCs. Besides looking at that aspect, if the story is not too long I take time to read it and I like to see a matching minion of some kind relevant to the pet. For my own pets' TCs I try to match their color as best I can and their job matches too.

i rarely look at pets, but whenever i do i always admire the tc! users generally have them so organized and beautiful!

Sometimes, if I see a good named pet or sometimes the first listed pets on a profile (i assume they're the player's favourite pets!), I like TCs. It cam give more personality to the pet (or to the player that came up with the TC).
I'm actually more likely to view pets profiles AND read their stories and look through their TCs than ever looking at someones gallery.
I love adding things to my own pets' treasure chests! It's one of my favourite aspects of Subeta. So, of course I love going through and looking at what people have put in their own pets. I love seeing how things all tie together or how they relate in some way and finding new items or inspiration for my own pets is always a major bonus!

I look at TC's if they're well organized and look presentable. Like, if I'm on a profile and I see a TC where the item images are tiny and surrounded by crap, or interfering with the layout, then I won't bother with it. But if it's clean coding and it looks like some thought went into it, I always check it out to see what's in there. I love when people organize TC's either by colour or by theme - makes it so much more fun to scroll through!
