So many pets, so many.

Anyway, back to topic.

I've chosen the pet stat totem once years ago when I was attempting to get into the blue building and having the stat totem increase my stats was the easiest method to get all the necessary stats to enter for someone who wasn't a battler and found upping stats boring. I'm still not a battler.

I've used the pet slot totem since, but it's true that while there are a lot of pet people on site that's not necessarily everyone on site. There's just as many people who simply don't want a huge number of pets on site and thus, to them the pet slot totem is useless.

Those are the people who usually end up choosing the other options and to a lot of battlers who aren't into pets, but are into increasing their pet stats, the stat totem actually is pretty appealing.

Well good thing that I wasn't making stuff up >D

It should say "each of your pets" or something, otherwise it's just a truckload of confusion.

Yeah, I have enough pets, now. Unless they release another recolor I must have, I don't have a need for more pets. Only for more lifelike dolls

Is it possible for you to make an edit to the totem selection page? It seems there is a mis-wording in which the Treasure Chest Totem makes it seem like 10 slots to one pet versus all the pets.

Never!

But, seriously you have a ton of pets so if you hadn't hit your limit of "need" pets I'd be surprised, to be honest. I probably won't hit my limit until I start hitting the upper 60s or something.

But seriously, an update wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing. I've never used the treasure slot totem, and don't foresee using it in the immediate future, but I don't see anything wrong with a stat increase or a treasure slot increase in the totem rewards, at least in the future.

Also, ditto on updating the wording if it's confusing. I've never used the treasure slot totem so I'm not sure what the actual wording is on the totem's description in the first place.

The prizes were meant to be equal-ish? To me they weren't ever about minmax but just a nice little giftie. It's not like hanging around here is a chore that someone would have to pay you to do. Subeta is fun!

Maybe they were equal-ish when they were first created and now the economy has switched around a bit. I can see boosting some of them.

I'm like in that those 25INT are really nice for my battlepets, INT boosters are always good for battling to run all of our scrolls.

While personal preference will obviously play a big role in what totem is valuable to you, there is a relative value to look at too.

The stat boost totem is only valuable once your pet's stats are in the thousands, when training times have slowed to a crawl, and you have to supplement with expensive boosters. However, the gold account totem gives you 15% off training time, which (until a certain cap which I have not tried to find), will allow you to achieve the same +25 (and +10) stats on everything in the three month time period (on top of what you normally would achieve) while ALSO giving you all the other GA perks, like extra quests, which is also helpful to battlers, because it gives you more Drill's quests, and more daily sp earned, which will also help with the buying of intel-boosters and the like. In short, the three-month GA medal is an equivalent or even better option than the stat boost totem for many battlers. However, the GA option obviously comes with more work, and the stats are not achieved instantly, but spread out over three months. I think the stat boost totem is a good option, but it is only truly valuable to a small segment of subeta users.

The treasure chest totem fares a lot worse. Let's say you have 30 pets, which a lot of people have. 10+ chest space for each is only worth 12 million sp. If you get the GA medal instead, you will earn those 12 mill easy in three months, on top of your usual earnings, and you'll have an ad-free subeta for three months. Once again, it requires a little more work than the instant totem option, but for most 2+ year old players, 12mill is not a lot. Play for a week and you have it. Then it's just a question of pressing a button for each of your pets.

Personal preference is important for the loyalty box. If you're not into angelic pets, the potion totem is not very valuable to you, but in that case, pop the loyalty box in your vault and wait until you suddenly want a name change, or your battle pet is nearing the cap, and your virtual bank account will thank you when the time comes.

I always choose the GA medal, because there are few other options that aren't matched by the GA's revenue boost. Also being ad-free rocks. ^^

I personally choose the GA medal most of the time, exceptions once or twice when I wanted a pet slot but didn't want to pay out the nose for one via those plushies that used to give out slots, username change, and possibly a pet name change, which was simply money oriented, I could afford it, but preferred to keep my money. It is preference, and TCs and stats never really appealed to me, having said that, they are probably a bit outdated at this point in time and could use a refresh, though I do not want the GA medal to be changed, unless more time is put on it. I honestly don't know what could be added or amended, as has been mentioned, it is just a nice free item for you hanging around, so can't be too picky, but an update would still be nice, I suppose.

I definitely support this. The TC slot totem is useless and a total waste. I always pick pet slot but it would be nice if the TC one didn't feel useless. I might use it one day if the value was more worth it.

I would love to see stat levels of health, strength, etc., go up. It would be nice if it increased for how many years you've been on Subeta. The longer on Subeta the more you get.

I agree that the TC option could be revised, I'd love to see it increase by years you've been a member.... same for some other options.

While increasing the stat booster totem with each year sounds good, that wouldn't change the fact that it doesn't have comparative value until your pets become very, very powerful. Enthusiastic trainers might already have such a pet by the time they get their first loyalty box, of course, but other users won't. Also, remember that the value of each stat point increases as your pet gets stronger, meaning an increasing stat boost would eventually become extremely valuable. I played around with the idea of starting the stat booster totem high and then decreasing it as the years went by, but something about it didn't seem right. People train their pets so differently; not every user will have a pet whose progression parallels the automatic increase or decrease of the stat boost.

I'm just confusing myself at this point. I'd love to hear more of everyone's thoughts on this subject.

... A simple increase might make it a little more exciting? Say everyone gets 50+ stats instead of 25+? That might be substantial enough that the convenience would outweigh the relatively lower value.

The same thing could be done for the treasure chest totem, except it would take such a large increase to get it anywhere near as valuable as the other ones.

My comments keep turning into essays. I'm sorry. -.-U
