That's so cool! I live about 3 hours away from mine, so I go and visit when I'm in town to see my parents. I'm glad they live close to her. Mine likes to tell a lot of stories and pretends to be upset that she can't sew or quilt anymore due to her eye sight being poor.

Mine also has problems in her eye... She has this thing.. I don't know how to say it in english, but it's called "Derrame en la mácula", if I'm not mistaken. It eans she sees a black thing in her eyesight... She can't do lots of stuff anymore, but she still can cook, and o my god, she cooks amazingly well!

Also, when I'm finished with the sketch, ywould it be alright to ask for the payment? :,3

I think I know what you are talking about. Seems a lot of people when they get older get that. I miss mine cooking, but now we bring her food, so it's our turn to spoil her :)

Payment now is fine, as long as you don't run off with it. I payed someone up front and it's been weeks and I still haven't gotten the art I payed for :/

If you feel more comfortable with paying after the base colors are done, It's fine for me as well, so no problem! I won't do it, and if I can't finish it in one week or so, I'll give you the money back, so you won't have to worry ^^
