I'm slow, how do you know when they were created?

I search them in the subeta search there may be an easier way to do it. the names like Kumos123213 are set up so it's SpeciesIdNumber so you can kinda gauge it by that I think if all you care about is the id number

I'm one of those people who like really old pets and low ids hehe. I didn't get there in time to get any tho. There are 187 in there now, so at least some of them got homes :) It would have been nice to be able to change the name, at least then, people could adopt to zap so that there'd be more interesting colors/species.

This make me want to scour the pound, listing each pet name along with their creation/adoption/ID info... so I can find one made on July 26th, 2009 :/ lol and help anyone else hunting in the same way... luckily... I need sleep. Sleep wins. Good luck all!

Language about what happens to your account if you're gone needs to be updated, unless these don't actually come off accounts.

i don't think these pets are from inactive accounts (those pet names just change to PETNAME_### and stay on the account), but pets that were cleared for other reasons, like inappropriate/rule-breaking names. i actually searched a few such names not long ago (out of curiousity to see if they existed or if anything was done about them) and found they were listed as having no owner (owner: user not found), which is how pets in the pound are listed, but obviously they were not in the pound. looking again, those pets seem to be gone, so i can only assume they are the ones who were renamed and dumped.

Yeah I kinda figured that might be the case, or that these were somehow 'recreated' deleted pets, hence the caveat. Thanks for the insight though, I wouldn't of thought to check it that way to be sure.

All pets that were renamed and put into the adoption center had no owner listed, or User Not Found.

I don't have an answer for that, as the programmers didn't have any idea how it happened in the first place! But these pets were not taken from anyone's account, if that's your concern.

These pets were deleted from accounts due to having names going against the terms and conditions of the site, and the former owners have been warned. So, these pets have been ownerless for years.

They are pets whose old names were going against the filter evasion, and PG-13 content rules

- I just have a really curious nature when I can't figure out why something is the way it is ^^; I must admit I'm surprised in that case that they weren't just deleted but I guess there have been some that appealed to people, as there are only 172 not 204 now, so it was nice they weren't ^^ Thank you for your help.
