Major Drills - Deleting Free Beers

Since Free Beers have become fragmentable their price has skyrocketed, more than double what they used to be. I'm a huge Major Drills fan but they're just a little too expensive for me to feel like it's worth it. Maybe change that "delete x number of blank" to not just only free beers but maybe any item under a certain value? Then it would work to clear out some junk, which was probably why it was implemented in the first place.
You can frag pretty much every single junk item, is it really going to change a thing?
I'd support just a straight out "delete x number of items" quest. if you're going to delete the item, it's probably junk. I think the problem with free beers now is that the people who are hoarding them don't want to get rid of them, so this quest isn't really going to help anything

I feel like "delete Free Beers" should have been taken off Major Drills after they stopped giving them out. Changing it to "delete any item" works, but I'd be fine with just taking the task out of rotation entirely. We've already got "frag items" and "donate items" in there.
Definitely agree, I think we should get rid of this one.

Can I ask why this was such a problem? I'm curious cause, I mean, it is only a 10k point item. To me that seems rather inexpensive. But I also don't really know what major drills gives out for prizes anyway as most of his quests don't seem worth doing anyway.
free beer used to be 2-3k each. it isn't too expensive but it's more than it used to be, so that bothered people. Drills has a chance of giving out retired items.
I see. Is it really that worth it to do his quests then? I guess for a chance at retired items is nice but how good is that chance? I find his quests particularly grueling and frustrating to complete, especially a full 30...
