Captain of the Fellowship over here. But this year I've got a new-to-forum-rp friend that loves puzzles but isn't the strongest rper, and maybe one of my Fellowship team mates. Hey, if you're not on your usual team because they can't and you decide you still want to play, I'll snap you up! wiggles Just let me know, and I'll sweep you off your feet~
fair enough. hugs and nuzzles

haha i feel loved <3 I'll seriously have to think about it. I and 3 of the other members said we wanted a break so the 4th member had to find another team. Also have a lot in the stress/pain factor going on... and would honestly only want to bother with rping with everyone. And if I did bring a character on, it'd like be my male sorcerer who is a major ass and also lecher. but i honestly don't want to let anyone down and am not sure how much I could do
Do you mean classes? I'll have that post up in background stuff. I didn't really lay out any "official" roles, just some suggestions to relieve the stress some players fely last year. It was intense for some, and I just want it to be fun.
Old saying: If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
There are no volunteers for this, hun, and it's not like Laurie. She was involved throughout. This is just something for the folks who don't want to be strictly "on the bleachers" but can't be involved.
yes, I mean classes and stuff and the different designations like writer, link etc etc

Sorry you're not doing the best. hugs I'm sure Jean can handle a lecherous jerk.
Jean: Why would I want to, though?

-snugs- thanks Sorn: "Look well and 'handle' me as much as you wish."
Okay, I got the class thread up for everyone right now, so all can consider how they'll play the differences.
As to roles and jobs, this was just an off the top of my head suggestion for resolving tensions and cutting down on in-team conflicts and stress. I'm basically saying that, instead of all team members trying to do each and everything, you could specialize, and have an Organizer for all the details, a Chronicler if you have folks who aren't crazy about RP or don't have time, a Fashionista to be your entry for the HA contests (although most folks like to dress up), a Puzzle Master if you have team members who cringe at puzzles.
This way, people who hate one aspect wouldn't feel obligated to do it, and those who love it could dig right in. This is only for teams who might need to do this, though. If your team is doing well without specializing, then by all means, keep doing what you're doing.
Does this help?
Share doesn't seem to be working quite right, at least not for me at this point. I hope that will work out for this event.
Jean: See, this is why I asked that question. PRetty sure the answer is an emphatic "No."

that post helps a lot, thank you so much!

just to make sure i understand the link is part of the team but they stay behind correct? and help out from squirrely's?
Okay it's Towel Day! You know, the geeky day where you are reminded not to panic, to always know where your towel is, and that
is the answer to everything!
Ah, how sweet it is!
But now, in keeping with the Q&A format and to not divert the thread (DDC team already does that so well!), let's have a bit of trivia.
Larianne has been doing a lot of thinking over this past year, and now, at last, she thinks she's found the answer to all her conflicted thoughts and feelings?
So, what's foremost on her mind today? Lappy? The Sidhe Prince who insists on serenading her twice weekly, going on another adventure---or maybe something or someone else?
I have 5 of these for the first five correct smails. . Come on, you know you want one, and I get to see who's really reading this stuff!
PS Only ONE submission per person!
We DDC take offence to that....no wait...that described us to well. :) lol
Okay, three winners so far! Good answer, , , and !
42!!!

Contest closed and over. Congrats to , , , and (she's adorable even if she can't tell an smail from a forum post! smmoch)
Anyway, the answer was in the puzzle post. On Towel Day, the answer to EVERYTHING is "42."
