She fell in love with a man she met while visiting Earth and decided to give up her former life to be with him. About a year after Selina was born, her mother was killed trying to protect the planet(and her family) from evil creatures... Selina inherited magical powers from her mother and now uses them to fight the creatures, and anyone who threatens the planet. To continue for my second entry we have a Villian of Rue's tale as a Magirl, I call her the Dusk Empress Lucida. Her Vessel is her reincarnation she used her sorcery to travel her power and memory through time. Using her new life was awoken by the release of her lover The Eastern Dragon. THeir History how ever was one that grew out of love and into manipulation. The Dragon only used her power when he deemed it worthy. Once he tossed her to the side she used the help of the new Harvest dragon to seal him away, unable to defeat him or control him she is willing to use his weakened state under her control and make him taste the pain she endured.
She is a normal lady by day taking classes actually learning of the new world with the knowledge of the ages as well she is excellent with History and science. Does study Magic by night but finds that Magic in this Age is not easy to come by. Nearly dried up and all Fey have nearly faded away. Finding away to gain a more permanent form of Magic source is difficult she finds her self weak more often than not.
