Oh regarding the Semtinel I got the info from Subetalodge, plus the item is tier 8 spent my monthly CSC for an item that I can prolly not use for a year as Tier 6 took so very long. Yet I got the parched baguettes, curse of boils and healing put into my Infinite as mods I do see how all the info is covered my Aspergers kind of over whelming but if I take it in the wonderful helpful increments knowing that 100 mill items are a bit steep. :P LOL Yet I have the eight items now in my set ty for your reply. Main Attack: 32 icons With Sentinel equipped: Attack: 18 Fire, 18 Light (36 icons) Defense: 7 Water, 7 Dark (14 icons) Blessing: Sanctuary Blocks 5 Dark Other: Heals 5-6% slight chance to steal Hmm...
Where does it end? Where does it begin? Does it begin again, is mortality a revolving door or indeed life's final exit
Parched baguettes are very good, but other than that critical strike tear, blessed armor and singed baguettes I think are better mods than healing and curse of boils. The healing is such a small amount with only 5% activation that it's not worth it. Blessed armor is like parched in that it has 10% activation and prevents freezing. Instead of doing water and fire damage, it blocks two of every icon and prevents stealing instead. My main weapons usually have at least 1 parched and 1 blessed armor mods at all times. For my legendaries, I went with hard hitting over protection so I think they have something like 2 singed baguettes and 2 parched modded to them so they do about 48 damage without the singed curse and then about 8 additional unblockable damage with the curse.
oh can we remove mods if not I do have one left open. IF not which one would best of those, mostly I guess Blessed amour or critical strike?? Hmm... since I tend to open with my alien goo bomb and my rainbow vortex I can apply the mod info to them thus off to do that! ~ I got it all figured out! :D ~

(and anyone else that would like to comment!) Hello again! My pet is on the edge of hitting tier 7 and would like to hear your opinions once again! I am pretty happy with my current weapon set:
So, I have already decided to replace the lantern with the item hunters bomb as it has a spread of icons as well as potentially more damage. As much as I seem to love the shrine (LOL) I am thinking it is about time to replace it with the Reviver. Of course, at some point I will bite the bullet and get ahold of the RV, not sure I am ready to do that one just yet though. Would like to see if you think there is anything different I should/could do with this set that might be better.
My real question for you is on my scroll set, this is my current default set:
x2
Again, I have already decided it is time to pull inferno... there are better options out there for those points. OH! I currently have 73 AP, am adding a point every 2-5 days depending on what amulets/tomes I get, and this current set costs 67. So I have 6 AP free, pulling inferno adds another 6, so 12 free at this point. I am eyeballing and . Gelaspell would replace the whirlpools nicely, and I have found that right now, I rarely use both of the blockers in one battle (Exodin and Cobalt), so could easily pull one of those. Are there some better scrolls to consider at this point? Both of those I am looking at are relatively inexpensive (as far as battle items go lol) but there might be better options? I would love to hear some opinions on this!
I saw your earlier post on here showing your tier 7 set... I think I rather like it! You have 7 items that are stealer/blocker/freezer/healer, and I assume that the legendary weapons are hard hitters so you only have to use one (maybe two, depending on opponent?) I also like the whole 4 mod slots that you mentioned... can you give some more info on the legendary weapons? Which are better, icons, etc?
honestly the bomb change isn't a big deal, either one work fine, though I think item hunter bomb with more potential damage may be a slight upgrade. Reviver of the lion is nice, way better than the shrine if you can afford it. RV is okay, it would probably take the place of your bomb so you can use that + shinwas temple shard at the same time.
Gelaspell isn't a full replacement for the whirlpools since I think the whirlpools have a slightly higher freeze chance, but gelaspell is infinite use. morosbane is a nice bomb until you can get your hands on a lucky scroll or two or three. scrolls are annoying, the really nice ones are expensive - like shriek of despair and psycho smasher. gift of the forj can come in handy too for the heal + little bit of defense. you can always add more whirlpools or sancts/cobalts in the mean time, or fatal fire scrolls are good defense too.
Yeah, your posts lean toward not using the bombs much... I kind of like them for the big hit one round, but will probably move away from them as I gain tiers. Kinda surprised at the Gela vs. Whirlpool... would have thought the 9% on Gela vs. "low" on Whirlpool would have been better. I like the Whirlpool, will have to ponder that one a bit :-)
I agree on the scrolls, some of those nice ones are just uber-expensive... would rather focus on weapon type items at this point and those two scrolls I mentioned are not really a big hit on sp, but do look rather nice.
I was looking hard at the One Ring, but I am already over 850 on health, and the Reviver is a long term investment and only (only??) 20mil more than the Ring, and I think I am close enough to 1k health at this point that the investment is worth it. I've been doing fairly well right now, using the pylonics/potions/vials, which does get kinda expensive but has be doing me right. Would really like to move away from using so many of the one use things though. I really want the RV, but so expensive... going to have to just save up for that one, but I will get there LOL!
Oops, it didn't post so I hit the button again... didn't mean to double post!!
bombs leave you exposed to damage and at a certain point they aren't that much more damage, you're better off doing some offense, defense, and healing in that turn. I'm not actually sure if gelaspell is lower than perilous whirlpool, but I'd imagine it is since perilous whirlpool is opb. it also has nice fire defense and some offense too. still, gelaspell is nice to have. the one ring isn't really worth it. it can be nice but you outgrow it. the reviver is the better investment like you said. hopefully they add in a way to get more one use things out there. they were supposed to, but I think more will come out when they do the next opponent reset and that'll make them more affordable. RV is nice but not necessary, don't get too hung up if you can't afford it for awhile :)
I hear you on the damage thing... I use the bomb along with the negating pylonic, that way I am covered. But I agree, I am starting to hit the levels that bombs are probably not worth it... better ways to use that round.
I was comparing the RV and the Shinwa shard, and I couldn't really see the reason that the small chance of freeze vs. the no freeze was worth a 50mil+ difference in price, which is why I have the shard now instead of the RV. I will probably add the RV as I go up, but don't really think it is worth the price at this point.
Gelaspell does look nice, thinking I will have to drop the sp and give it a try, just to see if I like it or not lol.
The one use things can sure make a difference, they have helped me lots on some of the higher ones that I beat right now... Felibot, Meatslab, Slavam, etc. Couldn't do it without that negating, regenerating, and such... although I am getting to the point now that I don't need them near as much as before.
It has been a fun ride so far, and I really appreciate the advice/opinions, has made the ride much easier, and more fun! Looking forward to getting up to the 9-10 level!!
the reason why the RV is nice is that you can equip it along side the STS. the small freeze proc doesn't really make it a whole lot better, but it can be nice if it does happen. it's just not something to rely on or something alone that would give it the extra value. you could try an assassin scroll, though I'm not sure what the odds of that are freezing. it heals (-3% to 10% per turn) which is something that gelaspell lacks.
Mmmm... yeah, I have the Spatial Abyss in my Meatslab set, but I REALLY hate something that takes health away to use, so that is the only place I use that one... for that reason.
Yes, I saw that having 2 total blockers is freaking nice, which is why I was saying I will get it eventually... thinking that is probably a must have in higher tiers.
It's not really a must have. I don't use full blockers at all any more, but for awhile I did rely on them. I think they're most useful in the middle to higher tiers like 7-10? Once opponents have a lot of healing and once you can start really healing a good amount of hp per turn, they lose their utility.
Well, that is nice to know... maybe RV isn't really worth that kind of sp. I have found there are other ways to do the whole "block" thing. Meatslab has taught me that one LOL. Spacial Abyss might be more useful than I thought over the next few tiers... adding the right pylonic/shard with that as well as with cobalt/exodin might just do as well, or at least close to... we will have to see! :-)
Acorn bomb is the hardest hitting bomb you can get for your tier, however the item hunter bomb has the chance to be just as hard hitting and is super cheap comparably! It is also semi-breakable so there is a chance you can use it more than once. Honestly, bombs are more of a fun thing to use, but not required for battle imo.
is right, you have a better chance of freezing with the whirlpools than the gelaspell. What I have noticed with gelaspell is you need to use it like 2 -3 times before you start getting freezes. Perilous whirlpool is also great because it blocks fire. I have a ton of those I use in my set against flamagia so I can block fire and freeze his ass at the same time. I would make a scroll set that is specifically for freezing and just add as many freezers as you can to it so all the whirlpools, gelaspell and pscyho smasher and shriek if you get any of those. I like to make multiple scroll sets depending on who I am battling. As part of your default set, I would not add gelaspell. I would also get more SE and cobalt scrolls. Those are nice to add to default sets.
my T7 set is good but very expensive. So the weapons I have block ice/magma/phys/water/fire and dark I believe, but only 5 icons of each. When you pair them off with the right scrolls it can be very useful. Adding a sentinel to your set also increases block to 6 icons each and the weapons have a special blessing that has a chance to activate. Each combo legendary has 4 mod slots. Based on the opponents I face, I have them modded with parched and singed baguettes just to get the most damage out of them while also granting freeze protection. For example, my moonshine does 50 damage not including singed curse. You will find better weapons at T9 but these lasted me for T7 - T8 so it may be worth investing in if you have multiple battle pets at different tiers. The only downside is the small amount of defense they have, but as long as you pair them with the right scrolls you will be fine
Hmmm... I only have the one pet at this point, will have to think/play with the legendary thing. I realize the legendary ones are really expensive, which is why I was asking for info on them. I do like the mod thing, has helped me many times already, so having more available can only be a good thing... vs. expense of course! Is there a list/guide out there that actually shows just the legendaries? Or is that something I just have to play with on SubetaLodge? I understand that I am quickly moving to the point that I will need multiple sets depending on the opponent I am up against... already have a couple of those in place. As well as finding/unlocking opponents that I don't already have, something else I am still learning LOL.
I want to thank you and again, you have both made this process much smoother for me, and I do truly appreciate it!!
here is the list of all legendaries. You could also get which has three mod slots but even more useful is that it blocks water. is another nice cheap option to try.
