OH! I forgot about our advent calendar... Weren't they supposed to be set up on the 9th? I don't think I was assigned anybody... Should I have received a smail or something saying who I have? But super congrats on such a great gift... That's really nice of them!

But yeah, we made our own donuts once, too. They were okay, but we over-fried them, or had the heat to high or something, so they weren't amazing... :/ I also have the special pans to make cake donuts, but frankly, cake donuts are just not as good! But then, I don't like CAKE much, either, so I guess that shouldn't be surprising!

We did get the kitties a gift... There was a booth at one of the Christmas markets that had hand-knitted dangly kitty toys. The stick for them is bamboo, so it is super flexible, and the toy itself can be clipped on and off, so after they tear it apart, we could always make/get different bits to attach to it. :O

Thank the Heavens you reminded me :D! I had the 14th in my mind for some reason! I sent everyone a present with their assigned peoples :3! It took me ages to make sure nobody got the same person for each and that nobody was buying for someone who was buying for them in the same category XD! haha

I also dont like cake very much :O! Normally for my birthday I get a danish pastry and stick a candle in it haha! My partner got me a mocha cake this year so if all else fails Ill lick the icing off it haha!

You know what they say, will never know the truth, as back in the day stories were told from one person to another. human nature designed that way to hide the truth. When we tell a story we either missing out some important detail or add our own stuff to it. Plus no one get access to top secret stuff which has bene discovered, so we only given to know what other people thing we need to know. All this is done for one reason, CONTROL and POWER. To control people, to keep cosmo spinning in its own routine.

Yeah, everyone in my family (except my mum) always went for pie instead of cake for their birthdays. :O A danish sounds nice, too. But yeah, if I HAVE to eat cake, then it had better have awesome frosting/fillings! Our wedding cake was amazing... Thin layers of cake with chocolate mousse in between, and a really nice, lovely version of fondant. Plus, it was beautiful. :O

And yeah, the kitties love their dangly toys. But I always hide them really carefully at night, but they still find them, and then they usually shred them by morning! Pull out all the feathers, tangle the strings around chair legs and pull the strings apart, rip off mouse fur, the works. So, hopefully this one, I'll manage to hide better!

We have laser pointers, too, but the swiss have rules about laser pointers (if they're too strong, they could theoretically mess with airplanes or some such), so the only ones you can have are quite pale, which makes them not very fun to play with... :/

Feel free to hit me as much as you like. If I get over being too lazy for it, maybe I'll send a few your way, too. :O

I know, I was SOOO happy with the cakes. They were absolutely perfect! The lady who made them is a friend of my husband's friend, so she gave us a good deal, and was willing to put up with my tricky requests :P And incidentally, the cake also froze very well... We saved some for different anniversaries, and it's kept very well. We have two pieces left, and at least one of them has to make it to next summer, but I'm not worried. (That's the one year anniversary of the church wedding. :) )

Oh wow bless, that is really good. I did not save any of our cake as it was all gone haha.

Ours were 3 tiers and we had different flavours in each tier. It was a lovely cake, let me see if i got picture. I wish we did what you did and save some for anniversaries each year.

Yeah, but you have to plan ahead to save some, especially if its good! The one that is pink with the branches and butterflies and such was just for us, and sat on our table, while the green one plus loads of pretty cupcakes were on the center table for the guests. Then, we saved the top piece specifically for our anniversary. :) We had loads of it, so we DID have plenty of leftovers, but that way, you always know you're safe! But you also have to store the pieces really carefully, so they don't get freezer burnt. My mum is really good at that, though.

Not that that's always appreciated! She saved a piece for my brother and sister-in-law, and they left it at the church. That piece sat in the church freezer for about 7 years before my mum threw it out! Lol, it didn't look that damaged, either. Maybe it still could have been eaten, but none of us were going to try!

But yeah, my husband and I have two sort-of anniversaries each year, and we've had cake for each of them so far. :) We had a civil ceremony, and saved some of that (though my mother-in-law didn't understand the tradition, and served most of it to guests the next couple of days after the wedding), but then the summer before last, we had the super pretty ones, and we've eaten a bit of that for the two Novembers in between, along with the prettiest part for the summer 1 year anniversary. :P

- Haha oh gosh you proper thought all this through. Very organised.Oh as long as it is special for you too that is all that matters. We already celebrated our first 2 anniversaries, seems like a lifetime already. I think it is because we had so much happening lol

Haha, there were a few things that we had well-planned, but most of it... not so much. The cake thing was important to me, though, and I was really upset that my mother-in-law "used up" so much of the first one, so I was really careful about that the second go around! I guess that's one bonus of having a civil ceremony so long before the big church wedding! You know what things are important to you, that got missed or messed up the first time. :P

Aww bless, oh just looking through my wedding pictures to dig up cake picture. It was such a fantastic and perfect day. For every bride her day is always most special and perfect. :) Any reason you got married in church, is it due to religion or you always wanted to get married in church?

We got married in venue we had our breakfast and evening party at. I was 3 month pregnant then as well, so was bit tiring, but had such a great day surrounded by friends and fmaily :)

Well, church is important to me, so I wanted to get married there either way. But also, my husband's family is from a small town that has a beautiful, picturesque little church that is SUPER old, standing on a hill, in the middle of a huge vineyard (where some of the vines still belong to the family!), and I just really wanted to have our big proper wedding there. :) And it WAS beautiful! And then we had the reception in a shooting club's clubhouse, with loads of windows overlooking the same vines, so the whole thing was really nice, and really pretty. :O

We estimate you've spent about 129,478,426 on presents this year! Oi... I've spent a bit there... :P

My uncle died today :(! He had bladder cancer but then got an infection and the doctors couldnt work out what the source of infection was and he died this morning.

Wanted to share with my friends and you guys are my friends so yeah...

That's very true! I read once that the Vatican has sealed chapters of the Bible that we've never seen locked in its vault :O! I would love to know why people feel that the rest of the world shouldnt know information, did it scare them or something?

Or maybe if it did scare them then do we really want to know? so freaky!
