What has happened with your pregnancy? How much longer do you have?

Family can be more of a nuisance than they think sometimes! How close are they moving to you? What have they been doing/saying to be ungrateful :(? I hate when people are ungrateful!

well i had chest infection last week and because i m not allowed any antibiotics, i was on penicillin which took forever to battle my infection so i was on bed rest for a week trying to recovering. I feel human now but can not shift cough and congested nose still. Then i been diagnosed with diabetes in pregnancy, which i m annoyed as i m a good eater and i am active, so have to check blood sugar levels 4 times a day and watch what i eat lol. The good thing is it goes after baby is born. I still got 11 weeks to go, so have to do all i can to make sure baby is born healthy and well

I mean its not like i expect medal or my grave stone to be engraved, but simple thank you would be lovely. Its not gonna kill them saying it.

we just he'pin them to move here and settle so much. Hubby helped his brother to get a job and we helping them to find a house (they looking for council as they can not afford to buy yet) and on top of that i was kind enough to allow them to come ours with a dog to stop as he is here and she is down south with kids (army house) so the whole family can be together for xmas. So kids can have fulfilled xmas, but got nothing back, she just txted my hubby saying thank you. what am i chopped liver it was my idea. She never saying thank u for presents for her bday and such. Am i being needy and expectant or is it common courtesy? I say thank you if someone does something for me, regardless if people expect it or not.

I dont know why am i bothering to pull my back and be nice. Its a curse, people use you when they find out you are too nice :/

I am going to Manchester Markets this weekend :) can not wait. German sausage or hog roast and hot chocolate here we come :)

I didnt know you couldnt have antibiotics when pregnant :O! Awww the diabetes super sucks but baby must be using more sugar and such so they'll be healthy when they're born :D! At least it will go away and isnt permanent! I really hope these last 11 weeks go smoothly for you! :3 Have you got everything sorted for their arrival? :D

I dont think many people realise how far simply saying thank you and meaning it can go sometimes!

I think she is being plain rude! A text saying thank you for how much you and your husband have done for them is just plain arrogant! Omg I cant even imagine not saying thank you for a gift from someone :O! Shell do that to her cost though and will end up with noone who will want to help her or get her a gift! I would make a point of saying your welcome to her just so she realises she hasnt said thank you XD!

Why not have both at the market :D!!!! It sounds like you deserve it :3! My friend and I are going straight for the German Beer tent and getting steins of strawberry and lime cider hahah

- The exam is Friday.

My fiance is off for 3 days in a row (!!!), so I'm excited for that. He usually works 5-6 days a week and up until now, we've had school on Thursdays. So, I guess no free time until Monday. XD (RIP free GA)

Bleh! Most things you can not have, even things like Lemsip or Day/Night Nurse to sort your cold out. Only paracetamol, not even Ibuprofen so yeh. It ain't picknick when you feeling rubbish. Oh thank you, i hope so too. We are all set baby's room set and ready, bought everything as well. Just need to pack bag so it is ready for the hospital.

Well its not just me who thinks that, my hubbys mum does not get on with her ether. Just feel sorry for them as i know it might be hard and stressful to move all the way from south and such, and especially with kids and before Xmas. Manners cost nothing though. We not helping out for gratitude or so they kiss our ass, we are family and we want them to know that we are here and they are not on their own, but their attitude stinks sometimes. They act like everyone supposed to do things for them, they are special.

Oh i couldn't! lol hog roast and the sausage and hot chocolate, my diabetes will have a feast if i do that :D Will see though, i do love them chocolated coated Marshmallows you can get a pack of 6 or 12 different flavours. I love amaretto and coconut ones as well as cappuccino. I will take pictures when i go :P Are you all ready for xmas? Where you spending it?

Strawberry-lime cider at a German beer tent? I think that would make the Germans cry real tears... :O

That's so weird that they gave you penicillin... So many people are so seriously allergic to it! I can't have any of the "cillin" antibiotics at all... :O

- Oh really?! I did not know that, they did ask me before though if i am allergic to anything, which i am not. I did not have any bad reaction, it's just took ages to recover and i could not get out of bed for about 3 days.

Yeah, the "cillins" are tricky. Amoxicillin is the "gentle" derivative of penicillin that they give most often as an antibiotic. Apparently, I lived to the age of about 24 without ever receiving an antibitiotic at all, and when they gave me that one for strep throat, I broke out in a rash from head to toe. It was miserable! And they say your first reaction to something like that is a lot gentler than a second or third reaction would be... :/ I guess I got it from my mother. Penicillin is the oldest version from the family, and they started giving that one out in the 60's. My mom was the first person in her town to receive the drug, and it very nearly killed her! So we knew there was a possibility I would be allergic, too, but I guess somewhere along the line we assumed I wasn't, because we were sure I'd been prescribed something at some point or another... After I reacted, though, we checked back in my records, and no, I'd never had any antibiotics at all. :O

It's amazing, really, since I'm from the generation of people who were given far too many antibiotics... :O

Pretty impressive you did not have any antibiotics till age of 24. I do love my home remedies and herbal medicine, but i have had a few cases where i would not do without antibiotics haha

Yeah, and the weird thing is, we went to the doctor ALL the time. My oldest brother would get strep throat, then a week or two later, the middle brother would get it, and then a bit after that, I'd get it. Justin got antibiotics quite often, I think, and Christopher sometimes got it. But the thing was, some people always show up negative on the test, even if they have all of the symptoms. So Justin would show up positive, and he'd get antibiotics, but then Chris and I would show up negative, even though we obviously had it, and had caught it from Justin. Chris would sometimes get antibiotics for it, but not always, and I apparently just NEVER did. So weird. :O

@ Everyone in General: So, has anyone signed up for the trial for the new wardrobe? I'm a little afraid to. What if I can't share my HA properly, and can't enter any contests anymore! So anyway, have any of you signed up, and if so, how is it working for you?

And whew, I got so much done today! A friend of mine (an illustrator) and I got together at a coffee shop to force gently influence each other to get more done, and I read through 16 chapters of the book! So that's really impressive, to me anyway. :P Only another ten or twelve, I think, and it'll be ready for publishing!

But yeah, off to teach a class now (my slowest beginners that shouldn't be beginners anymore...). Hopefully I'll have time this evening to do the Advent Calendar and Daily HA challenges. :)

If everyone could keep my cat in their thoughts. She stopped eating on Monday. Wouldn't eat Tuesday, took her to the vet yesterday and she had to have emergency surgery today. We have to make sure she eats today so think about her ^^

Oh no! I'm always running after my cat grabbing stuff out of her mouth. I don't know where cats find this stuff or why think it's a good idea to eat it. On the brighter side at least it was something specific and not a sickness or something. With a loving human like you it sounds like she should be okay; but I'll keep her in my thoughts none the less.
