Hi! I joined this group a while back but have not been as active as I had hoped. This is because of university and work, ack. I was thinking that maybe I should reintroduce myself.

I'm Vali and I am a 21 year old Apparel Design student from the USA. I can be a bit shy at first but then I get chatty. I love creative projects as well as learning random fun facts. I hope to be more active here this summer and make friends! :)

What is apparel design like so far?

Hi! Sorry for the late response. My major has been going pretty well. I enjoy it but it is also stressful. I just finished my junior mini collection which is exciting.

How are you doing? Doing anything fun this summer?

Heya! No problems with inactivity... It happens to all of us! I haven't been so active myself lately... I feel like I remember talking to you before. That is, unless someone else is some kind of clothing designer major, as well... Were you designing theatre costumes at one point? Or was that someone else....

That was probably me. My student job is working in the theaters costume shop. I also feel that I recognize your username. :)

:) See! You're not forgotten, then, because I have a horrible memory and I still managed to remember you a bit! :O And no, really, I have a horrifically terrible memory... And then here on subeta, people change their HA's constantly, so you have no physical appearance to help you track people, and then they even change their names pokes several people in this forum group, so it's so hard to keep track of everyone!

How has school been going? And were your costumes a success? And you said you just finished your mini collection... How did that turn out?

- I don't have any plans for the summer. I would like to start sewing, but I don't have a table to do that yet. So, I'm just playing video games. XD

Ha ha. Video games are good too. Hope you find a good place to work on sewing soon.

Yeah. The ever changing HA's confuse me too. At least it's not too bad. I have a friend on another site that changes their HA almost every day and the user name every month. So confusing. XD

Schools been good. I am glad it is summer now. I still am pretty busy because I have a job and an internship. The costumes turned out really well, it was a 1920's musical. My mini collection was stressful but fun. I don't have a online portfolio set up yet, but here are some pictures.

Aw, yay! Glad you're feeling better. :) Things have been pretty quiet in here. I think everyone has a lot going on, actually... :O And I'm trying our that Wayward Squirrels thing this year (and oi, it seems like it's time consuming, and I already don't have much time!), and also a summer camp for another group, though I'm not really sure... I haven't seen a lot of pings and things, and I'm not sure if I'm just missing them, or if there isn't much going on...

But yeah. Oh, and translating... Three pages left on book 4, plus final editing... Then it'll be finished. :)

I'm fine! Just trying to get some of my pet profiles right, lol. Namely Oshacloud and Sonatamoon. I made backgrounds for them. Oshacloud's is pretty okay but SonataMoon... I may need a text box for her story now... 😓
