I used to be a property manager at a lovely property... except that it had thin walls. Ugh, it sucked... I sympathize for everyone dealing with thin walls and hate that the companies who build do it on the cheap and don't do more to limit noise. Like it is possible, they do it in condos for private individually owned places but not apartments. :/ Working with parents with young kids/babies is hard, they are often sleep deprived and stressed from the fussing and crying and therefore some of the hardest to find compromises (like moving the kid's bed) because of that... I get it, being sleep deprived and stressed SUCKS... but it sucks for everyone because the walls are thin. hugs Hang in there!

Yeah, this kid has some real behavior problems, and you can often hear that the mum is at the end of her rope... I think she and the father have recently separated or divorced, and the kids, especially the little one, don't understand why their dad isn't around. The mother, on the other hand, doesn't know how to control them on their own. That kid screams and yells more than any other kid I know. When he wants his way, he wants his way. And he has quite the set of lungs on him! I guess enough practice does that. I feel bad for her in that respect, but then when we have to put up with that, and then she gets mad at us for watching tv shows and such... Well, I get frustrated about that. We never complain when he wakes us up, or when he screams for a whole day... sigh I liked it better when that flat was empty! Which it was, for a solid year and a half...

Incidentally, he's screaming right now... Such an angry kid. :O

Man that sucks... :/ If recently separated, maybe they'll move? Sounds like they would benefit from a quieter place... maybe a place that doesn't share walls with anyone. Then again, single parent makes moving even harder. It makes sense that if a parent is suddenly gone that the kids would be acting out, they'll push the boundaries even more than usual since it's a new family dynamic and are upset about someone in their life being gone. Lose lose for all...

HI!!! :-) Poor you! I mean poor kid and his mom, but mostly poor you! You sound way more patient and understanding than I would be!

Nah, no chance of that... Moving here WAS the move because of the separation. I'm sure having to move to a new place didn't help make it any easier on the kids, but yeah. :(

Well, I'm trying to be understanding, because if we have kids, we'll be the ones being loud in an apartment with thin walls, but I dunno... But I guess if we have a crying baby, I won't feel as bad about it, since we've had to deal with her toddler, so...

I've lived in apts with thin walls and it's never easy!! Heck, my house has thin walls and the house right next door is that house that's always being sold to crazies...lol

Oooh.... darn. Ya, that is probably making it harder too... totally new environment is hard. How long have they been there? Hopefully the family will settle into a routine and it'll get easier... :/
