I noticed this in my legacy shop but if the feature is coming back in new shops it could easily apply (not sure on that). Regardless, if it's an easy fix fixing it for the legacy shops would be nice as well.

I have no idea how many items this isn't working on, but I noticed it in particular when going through the Vesnali floating flowers.

They're all Holiday rarity. The majority of them come up under "Holiday" Item Type. But some of the newer ones don't. Ex:

Since there isn't a rarity sort (although that would of course be nice and has been suggested several times over) this item type filter should really work better/encompass some of that territory (again, if it's coming back and/or if it's an easy fix for legacy shops to expand the logic to look at some of the newer, more specific rarities we now have).

it's not technically a bug which is why the item type filter is definitely not coming back haha. the "type" of the item is really just an awful thing to filter by because every item really has like 3 or 4 types it can fit into and the item admins just pick one when they add the item. the type filter has nothing to do with rarity and ONLY checks the item's specified type (which is the same thing as its category would be in the inventory if you have "show categories" turned on wow why do we use different terms for the same thing that's so not helpful to anyone).

Yeah, I get that it's pretty broken I just figured some form of it might (hopefully) be coming back, be it rarity sort/filter, or maybe just 'collections' type filtering and depending on the method of this being broken that might be affected.

And if it was easy to fix (doesn't sound like it, but I didn't know) it would be nice for any returning users to be able to empty legacy shops more effectively. But certainly not worth any big focus.

there is an item use filter, which sounds kinda like maybe what you're asking for with the collections filter, and afaik it works. i know it was broken for a while due to some changes in php parsing when we upgraded our version of php a while back, but i believe it was fixed a few months ago.

but again, the item type filter technically isn't broken, because it correctly filters by the type that is assigned to the item, which is what it's supposed to do. it's just that item types are largely useless :P

Oh yeah, duh, I think my semi-sleep deprived state just combined them (use and type) with each other in the old shops - thus theoretically not back/not coming back in the new shops.

Anyways, rarity filter would still be niceish (for the items that are more defined but still don't have a technical 'use', like Holiday + user collections, like Melody + fragging) but it's much less necessary because of that.
