Shop Sale Event Notice on New Shops

Not sure if this is a bug or if this is how things will go from now on, but I've had multiple sales in my shop, and get a separate event for each sale. Previously, we would just get the one event for a shop sale, and then all other sales would I guess fit under that one event until I deleted it. Then once deleted and I had a new sale, the even would pop up again.
Is this a bug? or are we going to get an event notice now for each sale we have?

This is how it will be working now. You can always disable the events completely.

That was the sense I was getting from the Shop FAQs board :p
