burn me if I'm wrong, but I think if your price of the item is high enough that your shop is not on the first page, I've noticed several times your own shop won't show up. (So like if I have Netted Abyssal Top in my shop fart koala for 3,000 but it's got hundreds of shops cheaper than me and the LAST result in the search is 1,225, fart koala doesn't pop up in blue)

So I don't think it's running an account search every time, but rather scanning the first page results and going "Hold up, you own this shop! You wanna move it?"

Good to hear is from staff, and also good to know that I wasn't that far off with why my shop wouldn't show up when the prices were so drastically higher. Glad they fixed your issue, though :)
