Once there were two sisters, a blonde and a brunette. Their mother had just passed and had left them her house in a rural town as well as all of her belongings and livestock on a ranch in the next town over! The brunette went ahead of the blonde to take inventory of several animals on the ranch, including cows, chickens, and an ornery old bull. Well, the brunette didn't have a truck big enough to carry the bull, so it was decided beforehand that the brunette would call the blonde to bring her trailer to get the animal once she was ready. Being in a rural town, the brunette realized she had no phone service! She ran to the post office and discovered they had a telegraph machine, so she decided to try her luck at sending a telegraph to the next town over. As she dug around in her purse, she realized she only had enough change to send a single word to her sister. The brunette thought for a few moments, and instructed the telegraph operator to send the word "comfortable." When the operator questioned why she chose that word, the brunette replied:
"My sister is blonde. She'll try to sound the word out."
Comfortable. Come-for-da-bull.
