I just want to post here saying that we're not ignoring this, we've been watching it. I also get email updates with how many people have signed it ;) We're working hard to ensure that we can raise the limits to something sensible, we aren't planning on charging CSC for future upgrades, and we've been collecting the feedback from this thread and the one in feedback.

I'm probably not going to respond here much else (busy working, pushed a huge server update last night, rewrote the entire database piece between Subeta and our databases) but we're not ignoring you :)

According to a comment by Amber yesterday (I can't link directly to comments in news posts), they only started planning it "about a week" ago. I can't prove anything beyond that, as I'm not privy to staff discussions.

But you've been here for nine years: when was the last time you've seen the token, crystal, and cash shops update on the same day, along with a free gift and a new battle challenger? When was the last time they had a single-day battle challenger that wasn't related to an ongoing summer plot?

If all that's a coincidence, it's one hell of a coincidence.

and I do crazy days like this a few times a year. Some of you may remember the night we both stayed up until the sun came out watching Arrested Development when the new season debuted on Netflix, and confusing 95% of the Subeta population with our news posts. The shop change inspired us to get the ball rolling on some more of them with the intent to have more things for people to do with their items/remind them of existing things/be silly because that's what I wrote my dissertation on.

I'm not sure when this petition was created (the site says "one week ago" but not a date that I can find, I don't know if you posted this thread the day it was created--the 10th--or not), but we had been planning this kinda loosely since before we debuted the shops. We've got other similar days planned, too. We went with food first after seeing All You Can Eat Day..., posted on the 8th. I thought the pet hunger idea was super clever, and was able to come up with something even more helpful in the long run vs. just one day regarding pets getting hungrier the more foods they've eaten. We scheduled it for yesterday on that day, because I'm a nurse and I work 50+ hours a week (I'm in the middle of 3 straight 13 hour shifts right now). We had to pick a day we could both be available for so one of us wasn't stuck with all those posts. She's on the east coast and I'm on the west, so when we schedule things well we can get pretty good coverage spanning the whole day.
