I also support this idea. Adding in some sort of rotational system similar to what the hustler does but on a larger scale would also be great so that there isn't 200+ items in one category all the time.

I support organising the CW pawn shop so we can view by layer/price/timeline. I also very much agree there should be a sale soon, cause that place is getting crowded. Will it make the price of csc rise even more? Or will it stimulate people to use a few bucks on the site? Hmmm ...

In support of a sale. I know I would spend some real $cash$ to rehome some of those CWs into my wardrobe.

The pawn shop definitely needs to hold &quot;annual&quot; sales to help clear some things out. That, combined with a faster time table of things lowering in price might help curb the amount of stuff in there.</p>
<p>Full support of all the suggestions made, as well as adding a search function. There have been times I&;ve seen a wig and liked the style but not the color. If there was a search function, maybe I would have found another color I liked and bought something. As it stands now, it&;s a mess and definitely needs to have better organization.

this ^^ 11110% about the sale. i'd probably buy for pet tc's if this happened.

The problem with sales is that people can turn around and sell them back to the pawn shop if we make them too big OR just not buy them if we make them too small. This has been a constant struggle for us, because we'd love to be able to do it. If we were starting Subeta from day one with an item system that made sense (the itemid travels through the whole site, and keeps it's information) we'd be able to make an item not be able to be sold back to the pawn shop for 6 months or something, but we don't have that luxury.

Better sorting & discovery options would be great, though!

That's too bad about the itemid thing. the shop does have different ranges of prices based on how long an item's been in there. What if all the stuff that's been sitting there and is in the lowest or second to lowest price range tier went down another tier? that way the items would be sold back at the amount that they should. I know that means that all items being sold would then be sold back at that price but maybe people would rather have that since they'd also pay less for them in the long run? (or does it not work like that?)

I think another thing that would be helpful, would be showing either the lowest price of the pawn shop item on the shop search, or all prices available. Example: My friend was talking about a certain wig in the pawn shop and how it was 300 csc, but when I searched for it on the shop search, it showed as 600 csc. It turns out there really was one in there for 300 csc but it wasn't advertised properly on the shop search.. Maybe knowing that there are lower prices available would help in purchases.

Maybe an incentive to keep cw's kinda like treasure chests but can be displayed like collections on our profiles? and also have where we can get achievements and have some goals like for every x amount, you get a title or some item of sorts?

and have some sort of trophies to display as well. that way those who love those sort of things would be more inclined to keep them around and display them like a treasure chest/collection. to have where we can pull them out if we want to. maybe some nifty organization categories that can be custom like wishlists.

I think something along those lines so people just dont throw like 30 of cws all at once. and maybe have a time limit, like how there are limits for purchasing from token shop, etc like 5-10 minutes. not enough to make it an inconvenience but enough where it gives us time to think if we really want to throw it away.

im not at all sure if any of my ideas have merit code wise or time wise..or if it would be popular or not. I just thought to include my thoughts as i generally dont sell my stuff back into the pawn shop. Im more of a buyer, keeper. and to have those ideas around some how, it would make me more inclined to spend money on the site to buy more items from the pawn shop so i can use those features.

I don't think there's such thing as too small a sale haha :) Even if you set an across-the-board discount of 25 or 50 csc per item then people would probably still buy more items, if only because of the extra advertising in the news.

I don't agree with having custom wearable related achievements, I think that it's important user-created items remain separate from the rest of the site awards and such. People could also just buy cheap items from the pawn shop and then sell them right back which would create a cycle of older, unwanted CWs ending up expensive and even less likely to sell again.

yeah your right on the achievements but i still think a collection/display sort of feature page for our cws we would rather show off vs use in the wardrobe, that can be shown off in the profile...would be a good idea for those who like to collect that isn't related to any pets, etc would still be a good idea for those who love to collect. I have seen users have galleries of their collections so i think there would be a draw to it if it was more like a collection sort than a shop per say.

it would be nice to test it or maybe do a poll of ideas that is generated here-- then which ever one wins the most, have it implemented and tested on a small scale.

ps. those who are buying it for a sale would only end up throwing it back into the pawn shop eventually. goal is to get people keep what they buy instead of throwing it out--but still have it where if they want to sell it back they can for the csc. im not sure about the economy or what effect it would have though

This always comes back to "we should have made the wardrobe a locked collection from day 1" :P

I'm looking at some methods of sorting and better visualizing the pawn shop today!

The way I deal with the pawn shop is I wishlist anything I'm interested in and wait for the price to drop in wishlist view.

It's also SUPER ANNOYING that the price shown in shop search for an item isn't the actual price in the pawn shop, but the original price.

When looking at sorting, could you perhaps also take a look into this :)? It's very misleading when pricing items to sell as well, a lot of accidental overpricing probably happens when people are selling via trades (it's happened to me before and it's not a good feeling :c)
