exactly what I was thinking XD I almost said giggity in my post.

I tried to explain in the news comments how I felt about it but couldn't get the wording right, so here's a gif on how I feel about it

I really like the tigrean revamp, I don't know why many people prefer the old one (aside from nostalgia) as this one is a lot better. It's great to see that the tigrean kept its pose essence from the previous one but it looks better now it has correct anatomy. (I like how it looks like it's swimming in space)

The only issue I have now is the eyes and 's edits is a big improvement to the face.

I love the new pose - the old one made the Tigrean look like some weird kind of sealion with the legs and body being so fluid - there didn't seem to be any joints in the legs o.O

The one pose looks a lot more 'realistic' (well, as realistic as a Tigrean can get :P), and I love the inclusion of those extra teeth, as the other one just looked like it'd forgotten to put its dentures in ;)

Wow that's actually much more clear than words. :o

I don't have a Galactic Tigrean..., but if I did this revamp would definitely have me doing the Happy-happy dance. Even the big white tear duct that so beautifully tweaked doesn't detract from the overall improvement. Four toes!!! I don't know why that's the one thing that really makes me happy, but it is. Then there are the realistic workable joints, lovely fur and detailed markings.

Of all the revamps of things I have, the Bloodred Tigrean made me the most happy (I literally jumped up in shocked joy, knocked my chair over and spilled scalding coffee all over myself, and was still joyously happy). This revamp is on par improvement-wise in my opinion. [edit] Is it just me, or does the old one look like a boneless beanie-baby in space?

No offence but when did people start being so hard to please? None of the new revamps are good enough! There's always so many things 'wrong' with them so that people actually prefer outdated art instead...

People get attached to the older images and when something new comes out replacing some image they liked before, it's a lot easier to see the flaws even if it's an overall improvement. After a bit, the image may grow on them, but initially it's replacing something they know and like with something new, and new stuff is scary.

That I understand. Of course, there has been some revamps I myself didn't like at all cough Shinwa cough and the escalade (it looks too friendly somehow). Mostly I'm pretty indifferent about revamps.

The one time I've actually hated a revamp was when the Water Enchanted Fweese in Neuro Galaxy was changed completely XD I was so bummed... I was attached, I admit that!

I usually hate revamps until I forget about them in 2 days. Though I wouldn't mind if all of the pets went back to their original drawings (some of them are seriously the best) I just don't like change generally :p but I don't usually complain about them because I know I won't care in a few days.

I have no problem with revamps in general, but I think it's a lost change if many pets or characters get a revamp with a more wide face, rounder noses like Oracle or the torrent plushies and torrent beanbags. Not ugly, but It's too much the same omo. I like more differences. I don't dislike wide faces. But I would like to see also narrow, sqare, heartshaped, oval and all other kind of faceforms. Not everything have need to get a wider, round shape to look alike more cute or nice.

Anyway, Subeta is holy compare with the petrevamps from the yellow petsite...

- I still see a minor difference with the colors (and it seems to be more pronounced in Firefox than in Chrome), but I can't figure out what's causing it. I'm just going to assume it's something on my end and that I might have sent you on a wild goose chase. Sorry about that. :x

But the eye looks much better, so thank you. :D

I saw it too when flipping back and forth between your image and the real one before making the giggity tigrean, so it isn't just you.

- Yeah, I can even see it in the animation you made. I just don't know how it happened, because I know I didn't adjust the colors myself.

If Bean is saving by doing the "Save For Web" way, have her check if the "convert to sRGB" is clicked on (there's an arrow next to the preset pulldown), if so click it off. "Save for web" is prone to wash things out, and from what I've seen "convert to sRGB" is a big culprit (should automatically be clicked off, but not always; especially on cs3).

Also for the record, I am seeing the color difference on my home computer with Firefox.

The only issue I have with the revamp is that it happened riiiight after I told myself, "Okay, I've been waiting long enough. The galactic tigrean revamp isn't happening anytime soon. I'm just going to use the old one for the repose overlay I've been wanting to do." Dx

Other than that, I like it. The original vamp and all the tweaks look equally good to me. eue
