Hi guys not pinging and uh.. it's a lot to respond to everyone individually after working a double shift but I just wanted to say that I read everyone's post and first of all I am so thrilled and touched at how understanding everyone is and how many of you are willing to help financially and with ideas. I am going to take a little time to consider how to go about this and research a few options. I will answer one question- it's april 17th that the bill is due again.

That would be good! I'm not sure we have much programming knowledge between us, sadly. :P I'm pretty sure Grace helped set up the site originally, but it's been 7 years since anything happened. So yeah. We have enthusiasm! Just not so much knowledge.

I was looking at extensions for Firefox that let you save multiple images at once yesterday. Might make it a little less stressful. I can increase the number of visible HAs per page, too, so maybe I could bump it up to ~25 for a long weekend to make it easier. Thoughts!

By visible HAs do you mean in the, 'mine', category, like as far as making saving them easier?

Unfortunately I don't have control over which pages it affects - it'd be anywhere that 15 avs show at the moment, including Mine, Fresh, Popular etc.

Ok. I'm pretty slow sometimes, so forgive me, but i don't get how that will help us saving HAs... faster? I don't get it xP

Haha well my idea was to use something like this and increase the number visible per page. Some of our more prolific users, like or have around 50 pages of HAs! So seeing 66% more HAs might mean 40% less time spent saving. I dunno, though. I've kind of went off the idea, I don't think it'd be a great help.

Ahh, ok, that does make sense in that instance for sure. That is a cool add-on. I wonder if Chrome has something similar...

I tried signing up for an account but I'm having problems with it. It never sent an activation email so I tried sending it again and it's saying username and email not found. I try to sign up but my email and username are both taken.

did you try checking your spam folder? I know mine got sent there, I was having the same problem

Hmmm I'll look into it for you. Should be able to activate it on my end if you're having trouble. I know the emails have got lost in the past. (edit: just activated you (I think!), lemme know if you have any problems with it!)

Also, if anyone is still looking for an easy way to pull their avs on the site, this extension for Firefox is very quick and easy to use. I'm going through and backing up all my avatars at the moment and it's taking seconds! :)

(& anyone else) Looks like there's a Chrome version of it, too! I do really recommend it. I used the hover button option, rather than double click, and it was super easy to blitz through them.

Sorry I never really provided an official update but communication has been spotty. Thanks to a generous donation style-file is alive and kicking for another month. If I ever get a chance to sit down with some admin and brain storm some ways to prevent this happening again I'll post an update. TBH I haven't been very active on subeta for a few years now so I'm not as familiar with the admin and how sf works on the back end as I used to be so that'd take some time.

For now, the site is sticking around for a month or two. I really appreciate everyone's willingness to help! Keep using style-file, comment, adore, upload. When the site is doing well it helps it stay online because we have more people wanting to see it stay!
