While I don't mind improvements (quite the contrary) I am afraid this change to galleries and shops is another quickly but badly done Subeta thing. Why does it need to be rushed now? Why planning to go live when you don't even have a way to transfer items from the old galleries to the new ones? It is like the never finished wardrobe, like "fixing" wishlists and trees in December, like a buggy new achievements page. I love my collections and my galleries. This announcement is giving me a hard time subetawise.

If the changes are responsible for locking down the site in the mornings (night time Subeta) when I try to log in and complete my quests during breakfast, I'm not happy with it. The bad gateway errors were supposed to decrease with the new system, not increase to several hours every day. :-(

But as they say, sometimes things'll get worse before they get better so I'll be patient and wait for them to fix this. Just some "We know something is wrong and we're looking into it" message would be nice...

All complaints aside, I hope everyone has a lovely day. :-D

i don't like the downtime to and most of the time it's down when we europeans are awake.... :(

Haven't heard yet from my old job but i just turned in papers yesterday. new job already heard from, wanted some info and will get a call soon to sign papers, etc.

Yes, that's most unfortunate. I realize it's only a few people who are affected by the "brunt" of the downtime but that doesn't make me feel any better when I can't log in in the morning. :-( Since I was locked out last December for a few days (just a nasty glitch, no one's fault), not being able to log in at breakfast is a little unsettling... ^^"

At the moment, I'd even take a "We're working on it" although "We've figured out what is causing this and are currently fixing it" would be preferable.

What do you guys think of the new shop limits? Hopefully we'll get more than 6 shops, I'm trying to organize my stuff in my vault/shops in preparation for the switch. I know I have way too much junk piled up everywhere in my account but I'm always scared I'll need something for an event and have to restock/buy from users shops and never get it so I try to hang on to everything. I'm one of those EVIL hoarders that everyone hates and bitches about but I can't help it.

I'm trying to sort my mess out and make new shops and galleries. The sizes of them is very limiting. They say they'll slowly increase the sizes. I wondered about throwing stuff in the cult. Will that just make a lot of work for you? I've been throwing low prices stuff in Donations. Let me know. I hope it will be easier to navigate things once this new system is working (if ever). Right now it's very, very time consuming and awkward. I'm frustrated with the down time too and . But I reported a problem I had on the Beta Testing thread in the Gold Account Forum and Keith was quick to answer and fix the problem. Right now I'm sure the staff is busy night and day correcting problems. Always the case when something is changed.

First day since Sunday with no downtime in the mornings. :-D (My mornings, anyway).

I'm not mad or offended that there's been no information about the frequent downtimes, just surprised (and slightly annoyed with the downtimes but I see how that can't be helped with all the changes going on). I'm also sure they're busy working behind the scenes so I'm quite fine with waiting and seeing what happens. :-)

Personally, I think a short, "Yes, something isn't working right now, we're busy fixing this" news post would help settle tempers and worries. For European players (and those in time zones a few hours ahead of Central Europe), the site was down for 10 hours on Sunday, from early morning to late afternoon/ early evening (Central European time). With any major downtime before - like the stocking incident during Luminaire or that day at the start of Masquerade, which was shorter and happened within the same time of day as this downtime- there was at least a short message afterwards. I'm not saying they owe us an explanation but I think an explanation would ease frustration of the players affected and ultimately result in them being more open-minded and patient about the changes.

I agree with you . I love your little guy on his soap box!!!! I wonder how many people will just give up on Subeta. It is just one problem after the other. I've just come to expect it at the beginning of each event, which shouldn't be the case as long as Subeta has been running. 😱

Darn downtime... not liking it but not mad. But a simple answer from staff would be nice, Fix that first and then do galleries/shops. Don't agree with the new gallery/shop ideas to. Signed the petition.

Well new work called, next wednesday signing contract, etc. Heard nothing from my old boss yet. She is hard to get, so send a rext message....

I like that little soap guy too! He's so cute!!
As much as Subeta shuts down and has errors and problems, I could never leave Subeta!! I love it here WAY too much!! It has saved me more times than I can even say. All of the wonderful friends I have made....friendships that will last a lifetime, this is my escape world and I feel like I'd be so lost without it.
I just go and do something else when Subeta is acting up...
It's so nice to finally be feeling better I can do all the things I love to do again!
