Hello, I still play! I'm level twenty-one, Team Instinct. Working towards a Ninetails with the newish buddy feature. Almost a fifth of the way there, aha.

Level 21 Valor. Using my Magikarp as my buddy, because I have rotten luck getting them to spawn... even in areas supposedly crawling with them. A few weeks ago, I spent the day in San Francisco. The wharf is supposedly Magikarp Central... didn't see or catch a single one. :x

I'm still so sad that my phone was out for a couple of months and I missed some really cool events. Here's to hoping there is an awesome Christmas event or something.

Apologies if you've mentioned this before, but where is the biggest crowd of Pokemon Go players you've ever encountered at one spot?

You guys still playing? I am, and super excited for Gen 2, either on friday or saturday. I'm only 4 away from completing my dex, plus I still need 3 babies I think. Excited to finally learn new pokemon and see something new.

I finished gen1 tonight by finally hatching a lapras (other than the region locked ones) and have about 30 of gen2. I need togepi and magby of the babies. Me and my gf went out tonight to catch gen2 stuff. We were both really excited :) more to come this weekend when we go down town to catch a few water pokemon because they're very scarce here

I'm in Vegas. Water pokemon are super hard to find here too. Sad that I have to plan a trip to california to have a chance at catching a bunch lol.

I have about 17 gen 2. not bad for only an hour and a half of park time. And of course, it's supposed to rain all weekend too, so that limits playing time.

I'm in arizona, so we have one "river" that goes through downtown which is a wash that is dry for 99% of the year and water pokemon spawn around there.

Not bad! I saw a chikorita on the sightings earlier but it despawned before I found it :x

lmao the dry washes and the aqueducts are what counts here too. Ahh, the joys of living in the desert. However I have a friend that lives in Michigan, and she was stoked to catch an ekans, and I was like, girl. I have caught/ignored so many you have no idea haha

I'm originally from michigan :p So many ekans here too, it's sad those are rare for some people xD

Also no Ekans here. I was lucky and got some from eggs, so was able to evolve it. Sandshrew are also very very rare. Water pokemon on the other hand... I'm glad gen 2 is finally here! So excited! It reminds me of the time I was super happy to see a Pidgey =D

Game's a great way to kill time on the bus from the train station to my college...downtown is surprisingly Jynx-heavy for me. XP

I've recently gotten back into it :D I play it on the way to and from work because where I live is quite rural and not much good to play. But where I work is in a city so it's much, MUCH better. Lures everywhere, Pokemon everywhere, overlapping Pokestops right near my favourite cafe, it's great lol.

I'm level 26 and on team Instinct. My Pokedex is at 130 caught and that is what I'm aiming for - to fill it. Not so bothered about gyms.

Just an FYI in case you didn't know, water pokemon event now through the 29th.

Literally a Lapras three blocks from my house. The one Pokemon I swore I'd never get XD. Now I only need Dragonair and Dragonite to complete gen 1, and hopefully I can snag a good Dratini this event!

Thanks! Yeah I'm very excited! good event for us being in the desert. I caught a qwilfish and mantine on my way home from walmart today and will go out later to find a lapras for my gf. we're almost out of data but thankfully it resets at midnight!

I got a go plus a couple days ago so this will be very fun to use it during.

if you're ever down here, there's a pretty reliable dragonite spawn according to this I haven't been to that part of town to look for one because it's so far away and in the middle of nowhere, but they pop up on there daily. I caught a dragonair recently too because of that twitter =)

I don't think dratini spawns are increased cuz they're just dragon. I wish though, I need to max out my dragonite :x

Theres two places that spawn dragonites nearby somewhat reliable. Was only ever able to get to the closer one once, and it ran from me. The further ones a more reliable spawn, but it's either 1AM or 3Am or 7AM and I'm not going to be out there for any of those times lol.

ugh I'd cry if a dragonite ran from me. my gf had a tyranitar run from her monday night but thankfully she has enough to make her own and it was too weak to build up but too strong to pinap.

if they spawned regularly at those times, I'd totally camp out there xD I don't know if any of the spots here spawn at certain times or just randomly. it's out in the middle of the desert though near the desert museum, kinda scary driving area

There were like 20 cars there to get it and I screamed out "it ran from me" and I just heard a collective "oh no!" hahaha. My husband and daughter caught it though.

The spawn times aren't that reliable though is what's funny. It's one of those times, you just don't know which one, and I think 1 or 2 days it doesn't even spawn. We've been at that park twice hoping it spawned at the 1AM time, but no dice. Sometimes it doesn't even spawn in the park, it moves and spawns on top of a tall ass mountain with no access and we're all just like Niantic, what are you doing? Might as well put it in the middle of the pacific it's equally accessible lol.

I have a Tyranitar. It was in an apartment complex. It's hilarious to watch all the people show up and just cruise on through the gates, get it and leave XD.

have you gotten the update yet? my friend caught a shiny magikarp apparently, so I guess those are released. I'm so jealous

yeah the tyranitar I caught the other night was at a graveyard by a fastfood place. we actually drove through the drive-thru backwards by accident looking for it hahaha. is the one you caught decent? mine was 68% 1.8k cp which is meh
