Sydney Oh yeah, same day as my naming ceremony. Bill went thru the entire house with a sage, sweetgrass, cedar smudge then again with the drum. "The Creator allows each of us to follow our own path, as for me and mine, we walk the good red road."

Cara, crashingnightingales.. uh.. sure.. its,, aaaaaa little bit stressful, yesssssss.. oh who am I kidding! I am about out of hair from pulling it out it was making me so crazy to get things set for me to come home! And there's still a huge amount of work to do and things to get moved back in but as of the 28th I'm back where I belong.

Willow And that's the truth. Out on the front step there are fading handprints of 4 little toddlers who aren't so little anymore (we'll get Kyla's this summer). Inside one of the boxes in the trailer is a little mommie-made gift to me of each of their little footie and handsie prints and a poem she gave to me on their first mothers day..

More importantly tho.. every board, every slat, every nail holds what I cherish most, a lifetime of memories. And if these walls could talk.. every one of them would have a story to tell. The stories wouldn't all be pretty, and they wouldn't always have a happy ending but each one is a part of the fabric that makes us who we are. Family. Tell ya what, tearing 'er down to the bare bones was a huge task, harder than any of us imagined it would be but the thought of having to leave and never come back.. that was almost impossible to bear. This is my house, this is our home, and I am truly blessed to be able to say as much <3

Nic Yay for family!! Girl.. there was a time there that I wasn't so sure we could keep it together as Im sure you remember. That boy caused me many a'sleepless night - which in turn caused you just as many as I told you about what he did. And even when I was all oh man it's 40 below and they havent fixed the furnace yet, should we go he was already on the road headed home. We did good bby. We did good.

Efil, Spiritedlass, Jenn, beach - beyond blessed I think <3 My family's so close before they reconnected the wifi they joked constantly about how to save data they actually had to TALK to each other..

Kathy I hate to admit it but I found myself on the verge of tears several times yesterday - not normal tears, ones of pride, gratitude and astonishment. I know we pulled it off. I'm home. And yet it was such a huge undertaking .. it's hard to put into words, ya know?
