Kimi no Na wa or Your name. from Makoto Shinkai. It took my breath away ;____;
I looooved In the Flesh soo much and was devastated when it was cancelled (of course, the network itself was then cancelled, but still).

If you are wanting something that is recent in the theaters, I just watched Magnificent 7 last night. It was awesome!
But if you are looking for something older, I love The Day After Tomorrow. I can watch this movie all the time. One of my favs.
I have so many recommendations but they don't fall under the terms of your post 'cus I love binge-watching long series that have already finished airing. I also like binging on-going things LOL.
But I guess I'll suggest Patema Inverted. It was actually 's suggestion that got me thinking about the movie (because the picture reminded me of it) and I really liked this movie.

Also, I third 's suggestion of Dead Poet's Society. It's one of my two favorite all time movies. <3 The other favorite is Cruel Intentions (so good). Okay I'm done now I swear. >.>
Hi Violin! :D This is very nice of you, thank you very much!!!
I watched Playful Kiss on Netflix not so long ago, and I really liked it :D It has 1 season and 16 episodes total :o
Thank you very much again!!! :D
Movie Recommendation? Hm let me think. Oh here we go. It's a horror film, hope that's okay.

(edit: I removed my tv show recommendation due to the total number of episodes for the series.)

Zanky? no Teroru or Terror in Resonance 11 episode anime
one of the shortest ones I've watched ;O; everything else I'd recommend is over 20 episodes /cries
(also recommending Fireflyyyyyyy wooooo ❤️)
None of the TV shows I watch are short >.< Me Before You is a good movie with an all star cast but it's pretty sad. If you don't like sad or want to watch a funny movie afterwards I would recommend Spy. It's hilarious xD
I love Hell on Wheels but not everyone is into westerns.. so I would recommend something like Being Human (British Version) or Hemlock Grove As for movies I love Princess Bride.. and ones like Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and Sound of Music

xD Great minds think alike. If we could have gone over 20 episodes, I would have said Leverage because honestly it is the show closest to my heart, but it has 5 seasons. I wish it had more, but it ended well, so we always have that. I think I've watched that show more than anything. D: But of course...it is too many episodes...so I can't talk about my love of the growth of characters, or how great their cons are, or how well thought out the relationships are (for once).
Just finished Descendants of the Sun (it's on Netflix!) the other night with my roommates! <3 Such a wonderful story with genuine, funny characters and a great script! However, it is a kdrama for a reason so be warned. :P
Awh man this would have been easier with a few hints, so many suggestions even though I barely watch TV stuff ;__;
I wanna suggest an anime called Jyu Oh Sei, it's only 11 episodes long and it's one of my all time faves! The synopsis for it reads like it's not that great but please please give it a shot <3!
LOL yeah i hate watching long series because i am impatient and want to binge watch a show in a single day and be done with it. also HATE cliffhangers so i will never watch anything that isn't finished HAHAH u_u
Mmmm. Let me do an anime movie recommendation~
It's a very beautiful and deep story about love and friendship that totally worth 45min of your life.
happy weekend to you, too!
I would advise a film

I was not able to find an englsih poster - but to summarise: Orphaned Krabat goes to work as a miller's boy in a sinister, mysterious mill. There the twelve miller's boys are not only taught their craft but the black art as well. Every New Year's Eve one of them must die, granting the Master another year to live. When Krabat's friend and protector becomes the next victim, Krabat resolves to fight the dark powers to the end.
