The first thing that came to my mind was one I recently finished [and is on Netflix] The TV show is titled Limitless, although it has 22 episodes.

The prequel to it however is a movie of the same name that was done in 2011!

Cliffhangers bother me when a show is cancelled and only one season ever aired, but otherwise I love watching shows as they're done. So like sometimes a friend would recommend a show and I'd only start watching it after it finishes OR if it's still running it has to have at least 4 seasons before the current one for me to watch (since I sometimes start slowly and just keep having new seasons to watch.

I just love binge-watching(and rewatching my favorite shows as well). My favorite series is Gilmore Girls but it's 7 seasons long and even though it ended, I've watched and rewatched it like two or three times in the past year or two (I may be on my third or fourth go now because Netflix did a reunion mini-series that comes out after Thanksgiving... so I'm binging it until then... >.>).

I always got a kick outta this one: It was very short lived due to time slot and probably puritanical nonsense. But was fun! ( I secretly thought they totally based (ripped off) supernatural off that idea but don't tell anyone I said that). For movies my go to is: Life is a banquet, and most poor suckers are starving to death.

Happy viewing!

If you want to watch a romantic comedy, I recommend How to lose a guy in 10 days. The funniest romantic comedy I've ever seen!

Wow that design is gorgeous -

I recommend people watch the movie "Minority Report" because I watched it again not long ago and it reminded me of how glorious it is! It has a lot of mystery and makes you think but not too much so if you want to watch it before bed like I did then that's fine. XD

Over the Garden Wall is a short (10 episodes) but sweet animated series. It has a deeper meaning and the art is just wonderful to look at, I definitely recommend it.

For anime series, I'm going to have to suggest Yuuki Yuna is a Hero (12 eps). I cannot recommend this anime to people enough.

Since the winner is chosen by RNG, I'm going to post other recommendations, too.

For an anime movie, I recommend Sword of the Stranger (103m).

Another good anime series (but I suggest watching in English for the added humor) -- be warned, not kid friendly -- Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt (13 eps).

- thank you, deary! ❤ love the recolor at the end! (blk/blu/grn!) - THE MIGHTY BOOSH! (tv show)

straight from britian, this comedy duo is amazing! their costumes are fabulous, the humor is dry, yet absurdist, and there's basically a fun song every episode! ^_^ (psst, this is also where the OLD GREG skit came from!!) ❤

@ violin So I suck at decisions so here are four lesser known shows I want more people to see. I would totally have just said Preacher as it is my love but it has more seasons coming. Or Mad Men and Orphan Black because those have been my binge watch shows as of late.

Flesh and Bone Ohman Go watch this. I dont really have words to say how deeply I love this. The whole cast of dancer are actually ballet Professionals who are first timers to acting. Yet they all are brilliant in their characters. Claire especially. Its seriously beautiful, thought provoking, and a dark side of what dancing can really be to someone.

Plus a very cute recurring character who is pretty unstable but understands life better than everyone else is Romeo (who is played by the guy who was Dewey Crowe in Justified). As well as a few veteran actors.

I will warn its very dark, not very happy, and has some material some people may find too much. Though I dont want to spoil that as it is an integral part of Claire. But if you are worried, go google it. It is for sure rated MA. So dont watch if you arent ok with those themes. But it is by far one of my all time favorite mini series and I watch it in a day or so binge from time to time.
So this is one of those shows that totally has my feels. I think Ive watched it like 8 times. It is so haunting and amazing. Clive owen is really the show stealer as Thack. Ive always loved medical dramas, especially period pieces, so this hit the spot for me. Though the surgeries are makeup, they did a wonderful job with realism. So if you are squeamish it may be a bit much.

One specific thing that was even a bit skin crawling for me was a robot baby with meningitis. But damn it was cool.

They have an awesome cast, great score, amazing scenery, and it is really thought provoking. Specifically for me the race issues and eugenics, they take a really interesting look in to those odd parts of our world those many years ago.
Deutchland 83 If you dont mind subtitles you haveee to see this. The plot is great, as well as the actors. Plus spy stuff is my soft spot, so I couldnt say no. Especially as I am learning german so its good practice as well.

There is a specific scene where he enters a grocery store and is amazed by the produce and bright colours, as he isnt used to anything fresh where he was on the other side of the berlin wall. It also has fantastic music. Awyeh Blue Monday.

I am not sure if its on Netflix or Prime. Because I watched it in its original Airing on SundanceTV a year or two ago. But I have watched it again online a few times.

A Young Doctors Notebook I had actually read the book a good while ago and that is why it caught my interest. I had never seen Daniel in anything other than Harry Potter and a small budget film or two, and this really showed me he has skills outside of it. Though my main reason other than the book was that John Hamm was the producer and actor.

My best bud and I quote this show like nothing else. All the arduous journies, pickled sprouts, and prolific painters. Its really fantastic, and on Netflix. Truly one of the more underrated BBC productions in the last few years.

Oh and because I cant help myself, two movies I have saved on my DVR that I have watched many a time are: The Man from UNCLE (my life for some Napollya), and The Kingsman Secret Service. Because spies with awesome music, fight scenes, and humor.

Sorry not sorry for the wall of text (o3o)

Omg I STRONGLY recommend the movie Real Genius - It's a bit old, staring Val Kilmer when he was still young and "hot"?? It's so funny holy crap. You must, must see it.

20 eps or less rules out so many of my favorites, haha. But I will recommend Sweetness and Lightning! it's a 12-episode anime that just finished airing. I really love the characters (best dad ever) and all the food is wonderful. It's absolutely precious and never fails to put me in a good mood. TBH I wish it didn't qualify for this because I want another season desperately, just because I enjoy it so much. ^^;

I liked Hemlock Grove but felt the last and final season was rushed and sloppy. :(

got to love How to Lose a Guy in 10 days. ❤ Was it you I talked to last year when I used a reference in the film for one of my CW Winter jewelry pieces?

I have a couple suggestions for you, for anime I'd suggest "The Devil is a Part-Timer"! had me watch it and it's just so cute. I'd also suggest Bo Burnham's comedy "What." because it's just hilarious and it's one of the things I always turn to to watch when I get down. :)
