I've been experimenting more with the darkest bases and its so hard to create any sort of "interest" on the face like I like to do with lots of blush and contour layers on lighter bases. This will be fun to play with, thank you!

Oh it definitely can be difficult yeah, you have to use such dark colors to do it haha. I think this is a nearly black brownish-red that I've simply lowered the opacity ever so slightly on x'D

If you have not already invested in any of the many items intended to provide muscle definition, they often have contouring on the face that looks good on dark bases. The doll items are perverse in that they darken pale bases and lighten dark bases, but if the contouring is too much, you can layer the muscle definition under them.

Also, for bases 6-10 and for bases 4-7. It depends on how much definition you want in the eye/nose/cheekbone area.

The Go Outside muscle definition items to me look terrible on any base lower than 5 without a doll or some other makeup item over them to blend them in a bit.

Yeah, definitely! My experiments with my mermaid makeup to make wearable colors for deep bases have been like wtf, this is sooo dark! XD
